What??? How could Shump have played??? There's no way he could have played on that leg.

Just don't get in a car with him when he's tipsy because you won't be coming out alive.

Doesn't matter at the end of the day it's a TEAM GAME.. you don't want a team full of selfish players.

Wow. I don't understand. It's been so long for Knicks to be good again for a championship run.

WHAT THE F**K?! WHY CAN'T WE HAVE NICE THINGS?!?! Last year all the max contract guys under performed, and we are so lucky to find a diamond in the rough, and now we lose it for nothing?!

I truely believed that, under Kidd's tutoring, in next 2 years, Lin could really improve himself into an Allstar PG and help the Knicks to win a championship.

PG is a position that can make the whole team play better. A young PG like LIN will surely improve, and he can take the Knicks to the next level to beat Miami.

Actually he doesn't even need to be an Allstar, as long as he is consistent, we could have a very good chance with our current roster.

I don't understand people all complained that he is too high of a risk.

Didn't we all have witnessed Linsanity happen right before our eyes, and watched high-light after high-light, clutch shot after clutch shot, winning. Yet some of us still blind and can not tell if he is the real deal or just a fluke?! Tell me how a fluke player can always penetrate, hit clutch shots, full court perfect passes in transition, and set up players like Novak?!

I guess Linsanity is just TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE for the Knicks to have!

I really want to root for the Knicks, but please TELL ME HOW, after finally seeing a glimpse of hope after so many years, another dumb front office move kills it!!

I love most knicks players like Shump, Tyson, Novak, JJ very much and they all have great characters.

But I just feel so DUMB when I see the FO not matching Lin.

TELL ME HOW TO ROOT FOR SUCH A DUMB FRONT OFFICE?
FROM NOW ON I WILL ONLY ROOT FOR INDIVIDUAL KNICK PLAYERS. I WON'T ROOT FOR THE KNICK FO BECAUSE THAT WILL REALLY MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A DUMB.

Without Lin, the Knicks will just get older and worse in next fewer years and eventually the championship window will shut.

We would never know, in future there will be a possibility for Lin to go into Linsanity mode again and guess what people will think if Lin drop 50+ on Knicks next year as a Rocket.

I guess we will just feel like Golden State Warriors.

1. Jr smith is the mouth piece they are using to make Houston think they have Lin then come out and say "haaaa sike we love lin"

2. Lin backstabbed the knicks and the whole team got the message.

Or JR is happy as a pig in **** that Lin's out because it means he'll still get paid next year.

If true the first smart basketball move this team has made in three years. You do not pay a question mark that much

What? They were BOTH hurt.

Yeah thats what Im getting at stupid to say one should play and not get healthy over the other.

I kinda see what you're saying -- it was stupid for the first guy to complain about Lin. Shump did play in the playoffs, though...then he f*cked his knee up.

JR Smith took the Knicks offer because he's close to being out of the league and it was his only shot at starting. Nobody was going to offer that idiot more than a year, because he can't be trusted.

If Melo struggle or gets hurt and Amar'e continues to decline there is NO ONE that can pick up the slack...

Nobody, everyone else is either too old or too fat.

Tyson is good, but he came to NYC to play defense. He is not going to score 20 when the K icks need it.

So Raymond Felton is basically our 3rd option ...just think about that for a second. We're talking about a guy that was exiled last season in Portland.

Ironically, I'd totally buy a Knicks t-shirt that said: "Fat, Stupid and Drunk" with corresponding pictures of Felton, JR, and Kidd.

I can't believe we just let the Harvard global sensation walk to save $8m a year. Actually, we save less since Felton gets half that salary anyway.

Unreal.
