Really? I thought this forum was against posting fake tweets?

If it was a fake tweet that seemed real, but come on this was a obviously a joke.

I seriously think Knicks FO is not even aware of this. They are that dumb. I would not put it pass them.

It has to be in the contract. Plus why would they release him for nothing?

Well, I don't know him personally, he might be the nicest man on the planet, but he's dumb. And the dumb carries over to basketball.

hey remember that bucks game that we needed to win otherwise we wouldn't make the playoffs? JR hit the game winning shot....while Mr 85% was nowhere to be found.

Remember the game where JR chucked brick after brick? Oh, I mean every other game.

There's a reason he's making so little money despite having talent, and it has nothing to do with loyalty.

Some posters on here are going to far. Period. What happened to JR's friend was bad, and there was no need to bring that up right now.

Greeny.. I never liked the guy to begin with... I didn't want him on the team, period. He's dumb as rocks on the floor.. and an imbecile off the court. Guys want to prop him up... I'm going to tear him down.

It'd be hilarious if Amare when he came back from Europe had no idea Jeremy was a Houston Rocket.

I know this is gonna sound dumb, but how can he be overrated when he barely played even a season? If it were my team I would have signed him.

What part of this don't people understand...

but it doesnt make business sense to not match. lin can still be traded down the line. its not business at all imo. if the knicks dont match it's because dolan is mad at lin... which is personal, not business.

What if turns into Yi with that contract?

I really don't think the team felt Lin is that good for the price.

Personally i would have matched just to trade him for a piece I would really want.

even if lin stunk up the joint, some team would still be willing to take him on for marketing alone.

no one here personally knows JR smith... so if you dnt mind... hop off.... u soud stereo typical

Stereotyping would be saying he is a bad person because he has tattoos.

Pointing out things he's actually DONE is not stereotyping.

lol

wow because he throws up three fingers after a three like the rest of the players in the league..
You arent in a gang I assume, or you would know what is and is not a gang sign....

therefore it is sterotyping

Knicks should have at least matched him to play starting SG till Shumpert got healthy. Then trade him for a first round pick or young backup big man.

Now he is gone for nothing. So foolish that I think the decision is not final and the Knicks will match.

It's part of CBA no? I'm saying they could do stretch before third year pill, and then they could keep him or trade him whatever...

This decision was not about money. I know people keep echoing it but I don't believe it was ever about money. I think that it's a convenient and planned excuse. I think they told him they were gonna match any offer so when it ended up being a big deal, they could use it as an excuse for why they didn't bring him back. The organization never planned to bring him back. I think Isiah/Woodson advised Dolan not to match.

I guess I found the poster who wouldn't trade Lin for Chris Paul.

If it was CP3 or even Nash, I would give up Lin for. We're doing it for Rotund Raymond.

Nobody knows if he could be traded down the road, especially in year 3. Why take that chance with that Salary hanging over your head.

why couldnt he be traded? even if he stunk he could still be moved. year 3 he would be an expiring contra t at worst which is not hard to move.
