get andrew bynum - get him to pull a david robinson (sorry conspiracy theorists) and fake an extended injury (or extend an actual injury - which he's likely to suffer given his history) tank the year and pair bynum up with shabazz muhammad - hope for an iguodala type of player to bite in free agency then boom contender in 2014

And I hate all of those players, let me know when we can get a Duncan or nowitzki type.

And win? Very, very low percentage of that actually happen.

Both of those players have won. We are talking types of leaders not actual players. We aren't getting bron wade or bosh either "very, very low percentage of that actually happen."

I hope reports aren't true that he still thinks Brooklyn is an option. It reminds me of Cartman wanting an iPad but instead gets offered an android tablet. After the android tablet was taken off the table he begins to beg for the android tablet  I hate assuming things based on these stories but one thing is for sure, Dwight needs to hire new people to rebuild his immature image.

Do you want to do part 41?

+1 well said arsenal

@TheMagicOne
Yeah man anytime, make the next one. Don't worry about the math and updated stuff if you don't want to do it yourself... MagicTownBaller, arsenal6106, or I can help you with that (we'll post the updated stuff for you, and you can just copy/paste it into the OP, all you have to do is click "quote" on our post, then just copy the updated part you need, & then go back to the OP, edit and paste it in there). :) Easy schmeezy.

EDIT* I'm on a little vacation... so I'm behind on a lot of stuff... don't worry about the last thread being locked up TheMagicOne... no biggie man... things happen, it's nothing to sweat at :) ... eyriq is cool.

I like Bynum a lot except for the fact that I feel it's really a 50/50 chance he will even play a majority of the season

I'm not sure if I'd have a great attitude myself if I was the most gifted offensive center in the league, yet I was only getting 12 shots per game. Definitely reaching there buddy.

I think what Rob meant to say was:
"All things being equal, I'd like a SUPERSTAR who happens to have great character... But if you make me choose between Lopez and Bynum, well, character is overrated."

Is there a high percentage of HOF loyal champion players that are hiding under a rock that I haven't seen?

Wasn't Bynum actually satisfied with the thought of going to Toronto for CB4? Just to be "the man" now he's too good for all of that I guess.

So I'm guessing with all the Bynum talk, discussions have shifted towards a Magic/Lakers deal? ... sorry I've been behind the past two days.

I thought reports were that he's a techie, ie puts computers together in his spare time, studies mechanical engineering, etc ...

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/ ... /index.htm

They are joined in the house in Westchester in West L.A. by seven computers, several of which Bynum assembled on his own, and are among the fastest Corbin has ever seen. "Drew could be an engineer," says Corbin, who became a friend. "He built the George Jetson of computers." Bynum also put together a remote control car that could reach 100 miles per hour, to the delight of kids in his neighborhood. He trained a Labrador, Max, and plans to breed them this summer. He leased a garage where he keeps most of his 12 cars and hopes to open an auto-body shop. He loves projects.

Very true.

Bynum and Gasol are the most well-read big men in the game. It's easy to label Bynum a thug because of the Dallas episode and his "Reggie Miller is my idol" streak last year. But the dude is well spoken, doesn't get into ANY trouble off the court, does tons of community service and appearances here in LA, and would kick most of our butts on an IQ test.

Nah, the Lakers are just talking with the Magic for Dwight again. I don't think it's going to work out though.

He only considered colleges where he could major in mechanical engineering. His plan after graduation was to land a job as a computer programmer. He can describe the difference between a quad-core and dual-core processor in such detail that it almost makes sense. "He cares deeply about the way things work," says L.A. coach Phil Jackson. The Lakers knew Bynum would encounter setbacks, but while the typical teenager might shut down, his instinct was to keep tinkering. It's how he is wired. "I want to master everything," Bynum says. "I want to understand what the hell is going on."

Could you imagine having a big man that you can actually run an offense through? And not have to run it in spite of him

Or we can dump all are bad contracts, tank, get Shabazz and still sign Bynum & Ellis next summer.

BTW I liked the Sports Illustrated read about him. In that read you had the unbelievable upside he has as well as the unbelievable risk with his knees. Such a hard choice to make.
