He is funny and speaks the truth. I hope he stays. He in know way deserves a suspension. He makes this board more enjoyable.

C'mon, shpati...you're better than this.
Doc has been suspended many times before. He's on edge.
He does nothing but speaks his truth. Lot of people just do not share his opinions.
And I have never seen a "suspended" near Doc's name tbh.

I've had that same thought as well. It seems obvious to me that Lin did not want to be a Knick. Felton loves NY and was heartbroken when the Knicks traded him in that Melo trade but he's back now and i'll be rooting for him.

There are plenty of teams out there that would take that Houston contract because of how desperate they are for a point guard. You could easily stash Lin for a couple months and then trade him for at least an expiring deal and a future first rounder. Just look at what the Raptors gave up to get Lowry who is not as good as Lin.
IMO you do not give up an asset that won't cost you the tax money for two years. Lin will always be tradeable in some form or fashion.

They didn't match Lin's offer sheet ? I guess Dolan stole my blueprint for greatness. I still have the billboard if Jimmy needs it...![]()

People like to ignore the fact that Lin had a say in this all as well. He wasn't blindly forced into anything. If he wanted money, and Knicks, he could have figured something out. It's just easier to believe that innocent do-no-wrong Lin was simply "doing what they told him" and that he "fully expected the Knicks to match" yada yada.
