Hey, I want my PG to be a workhorse, not eat the horse.
Yet people take this 1/2 season sample of Felton and somehow think he's good. They probably tie it in with his draft position.
He's fat. He disappointed. He's body of work for all other teams besides the Knicks = not good. Every other team replaced him at PG with someone else. See any trends here?
It wasn't even a 1/2 season sample. It was one MONTH in December where Felton was playing like an all-star. After that, he regressed back to the mean, started shooting at a 35-38% clip, and started to develop an ego where he would take shots himself over passing to an open shooter. Felton was not a good point guard. I liked his heart and warrior mentality when he was a Knick, but Lin is flat out better.
You can say the same about Lin.
People on this board were livid when Felton got traded in that package. They were mad about losing him too. That's how good he was during his run with us.
