he tested the market, got a great contract for himself. i don't begrudge him that...but c'mon he had to know when he went back and signed that revised offer sheet, what the numbers would do to the knicks and their finances. as a harvard grad, he knew exactly what he was doing. lin knew the knicks would match the first offer sheet. so, either he gets the rockets to up the ante or the rockets ups the ante...no one made him sign it. again, i'm not hating on a man making his money...but don't paint lin Iinto someone the knicks betrayed. no disrespect to anyone, lin might be a follower of christ, but he isn't the knicks savior. he don't walk on water and he cant turn water into wine.
he's a guy who played 25 games, set MSG on fire, set the league on fire...but if the knicks matched this offer sheet, they'd get burned. sorry, jeremy lin isnt a 14 mil dollar player (i guess he will be to the team who pays his salary)...but he isn't worth the money.
as fans we have been screaming to become FISCALLY responsible. well guess what, they have decided to be fiscally responsible. i will support this team, with or without lin...i root for the jersey, i root for the team.
lin is as good as gone, he played a part in it, the knicks played a part in it. if anyone thinks jeremy lin didnt know what he was doing when he signed that offer sheet...or maybe he's so delusional he really believed the knicks would really match ANY OFFER UP TO A BILLION DOLLARS...or maybe he truly believes they would match any offer because in 25 games he went from SHID to the SHID.
either way, i say thanks for your service jeremy, best of luck in houston. WELCOME back raymond felton, you're a knick again, now its your turn to go from shid, to the shid, to shid, to the shid again...lol. and when you do, watch all the chickens come home to roost again.

I like Jeremy as much as anyone, but Dude doesn't want to play for the knicks , and people are contemplating suicide if the knicks don't match. If lin does indeed go, I hope his worshippers go with him so this board can be readable again.
How do you know he doesn't want to play for the Knicks? Another baseless post.
