This team is becoming very hard to root for and everything I do not like about the current state of the NBA.

PG - Felton - All of his apologists point to his season with the Knicks and say he only was terrible for the majority of the rest of his career because he wasn't in shape and motivated. It's great to have a guy that wants to be here, but not if he is that terrible type of personality. First sign of things going south and do you trust this guy to stay in shape and motivated? Why should a guy being paid millions need motivation to actually do his job?!?!?

SG JR Smith - Shoot first SG who gets in trouble off the court. His defense actually impressed me last year compared to his reputation, but this guy is one knock on the head from being clinically nuts.

SF - Carmelo - All world talent, doesn't bring it on the defensive end. However, my biggest problem with Carmelo is that I see that he CAN be a team player. I see it in all star games and I see it in the Olympics. Problem is, he has to respect the guys around him to be a team player. For the most, part that is only superstars. When he's on, he's as fun as anyone to watch in the sport, but the way he plays will never lead to a championship.

PF - Amare - Most of my problem with Amare is completely out of his control. My biggest problem with him personally is that he wants to win bad (you can see it from the frustration with the fire extinguisher incident and the passion he shows on the floor), but not bad enough to learn how to play defense. Otherwise, the problem with him is that he's a shell of his former seld because of the injuries.

C - Chandler - We need 4 more guys with Chandler's attitude starting for this team. I wish it would rub off on the rest of these guys. Team player, leaves it on the court, passionate about winning. I love the guy. Too bad he's only one man.

people are too sensitive about words anyways. throwing a hissy fit when someone says a certain word just gives that word power. "100s of years ago it was used as derogatory" who cares? context is the most important thing. if someone says "damn that **** is good" i dont see how it's racist regardless of the word being used. where as if you said "i can't stand that dirty nig_r" then it's offensive. it's all about context.
