He's always had weight issues.

Yet he's always been able to put up 12-14 and 6-7.

And the years keeping slipping by... the weight issues will catch up with him sooner rather than later... they always do.

The difference in PER is pretty significant

How about comparing Ray's best say, 25 game sample as a Knick to Lin's.
I'm curious.

If Lin is matched, send STAT to the bench to play with Felton

And you really think Felton will show up overweight? With Woodson as his coach and with the task of replacing and trying to make fans forget Linsanity?

Felton is under a lot of pressure. He'll show up with a six pack and I don't mean beers.

well the lack of news seems to have deflated the night time

NY is probably hoping to announce as late as possible that they arent matching to avoid media/fan backlash

The Knicks probably have high hopes for Prigioni as well. It would be funny if by the end of the season he ends up starting.

People consistently bring up the Lin vs Felton offensive numbers, but never bring up the point that Felton also would fit great in Woodson's defensive schemes. I personally would rather have Felton guarding Westbrook than Lin.

As far as I'm concerned when Felton had his Knick jersey on he played his heart out for the Knicks, was third in NBA in assists, and increased STATS PPG by over 4ppg more than Steve Nash did. He also played the most minutes during his tenure with the Knicks (more than Gallo, Chandler, Stat), something he doesn't have to do with Kidd on the roster. He hasn't disappointed while being a Knicks, so I'll reserve judgement until I see him play.

But I'm not talking about the usage around people whom you know won't take offense. I'm not in any way trying to dictate how people should interact with their friends and family. I should have been more clear with that, I guess.

kNicksGmen wrote:all i'm saying is those people are just giving those words/phrases power by reacting so strongly to them.

I understand what you mean and in some cases I even agree. However, please understand that as long as there are still people who absolutely mean to cause offense with those words, then people will have the right to take offense. It's not a flu vaccine, society can't just keep tossing out slurs hoping one day people will stop caring.

like that one lin fanboy that flipped out for like 10 straight posts dropping the N bomb over and over  way to get your point across.

Yeaaaaahhh, I'm not one of ~*those*~ Lin fans.

I hope.

I heard one report where it was stated they might not even announce it all and just let Lin ride off into the moon light.

Haha...man. After all this, Lin BETTER play at least at a starting PG level.

Yeah what bring me security is that I feel that ONE of Kidd/Prigoni/Felton has to work out, right? I mean before Line, we had no PG, after Lin, we basically had no pg. Now we have 3. This team improved this off season..

Felton would have to eat himself into a coma and Kidd would have to actually hit some trees on one of his late night drinking binges for that to take place.
