Not the decision I was hoping for, but it is what it is. Thanks to Lin for making this team exciting again and good luck out there in Houston.

Time to move on. Nothing we can do about it. I'm shocked but I'm not mad.

I'm a Knick fan and always will be, so lets go NYK. Nuff said.

You obviously have not endured any of that if you think this is the worse of all.

It is the dumbest move tho... all of those other moves had some upside at the time they were made.

Bank it now, Lin wil be in the all star game next Febuary. Too many China votes. All the talk will be how the Knicks let all star get away for nothing.

At least we have an owner that make moves based on his emotion.

I need a break from the Knicks, will be back in November, maybe.

That's a shame, after winning the bird rights case we let him walk for zilch. We went from Nash and Lin not too long ago to Felton and Kidd. Alas life goes on and we will all be here opening night. Rough offseason gents

Traded Jeffries, for old man Kurt Thomas

We got old man Marcus Camby and drunk Kidd

We lost all our assets, 2nd picks, and draft rights. Terrific off season.

When are people going to just accept that we had no assets. The only negligible difference from last year is Lin. We brought in a decent replacement though and upgraded the bench big time. Wed obviously be better if we kept Lin but this team will be better then last years for sure.

But Felton was at the BBQ on July 4th, before any of this happened

Dolan doesn't have the smarts or the guts to confront the media and answer tough questions about his awful ownership.

I think Grunwald will probbably speak to Francesa tomorrow and take a bullet for Dolan

Italia, I don't mean this in a derogatory way whatsoever but how old are you? I only ask because I think it's the Knick fans that have seen so much fail over the years that are most upset.

Been a fan since late 80's, saw them deal the pick that became our tormentor Scottie Pippen, saw them deal a young Rod Strickland for a 35 yr old, saw them do crazy sht for years upon years..Charles Smith/Frederick Weis/lottery pick and 25 yr old Marcus Camby for player many felt was thisclose to having his career ended, Ewing traded for Rice and bad contracts, Rice traded for worse players and contracts, MoF*** Layden years then the MoFo*** Isaih years. Even our savior Donnie wasn't perfect either.

Then one of the luckiest brakes I've ever seen happens with this Lin kid and who the hell knows what he'll be?? But g*damn it's intriguing, interesting, hell it's fascinating really. Even non-Knick fans were into this. How good or bad can he become being 23 yrs old??

And now it's all gone. Poof. We didn't even get a G*Damn season out of it to see all the parts working together.

It's depressing and it;s pent up anger.

I'm not one of those "I CAN"T BELIEVE THIS" fans but I understand. I'm a diehard Knick fan and so I'm most definately not going to mock them..

I disagree. At least with all the other moves it felt like they were trying. Going for it, trying to improve the team. This is just nonsensical and really just kills my excitement for Knicks basketball for the next few years.

I think this sums up Knicks frustration with Lin, don't even bother letting him know

Jonathan Feigen:Knicks spokesman confirmed again the Knicks decision not to match the Rockets' offer sheet for Lin. Knicks have not contacted Lin

I don't wanna see that punk on this team. Hell no, never again.

When we fail to win a championship, the Knicks better **** rebuild the RIGHT WAY.

Screw all these FA plans. Build homegrown players. Stop all this offseason lunacy. Give us a MF'n break.

all the moves we made are negated by this.

this offseason is a HUGE failure and shows the inability of the FO to make the right move

i think that was before they thought they were getting kidd. they expected him to stay in dallas. they always wanted a second starting quality point guard with lin.
