Marshall, and it's not even close.

By the way, why you'd want to grab Howard? he isn't going to stay to play with the Houston Magic and a bunch of rookies, if I was you, I'd prefer Bynum.

I want neither but if I had a choice of the two then I would also choose Bynum.

I thought you guys weren't allowed to tank by your owner.

Never tank.

Never.

That said, if our young guys put up a fight and try their damndest to win and just find themselves overmatched then I'm cool. If the team is going to have a sucky W/L percentage then I will watch every game looking for the guys trying their best no matter how bad it may get.

Deliberately tanking is not cool.

If we miss out on Dwight we are essentially tanking. Jeremy Lin eases the burden of fielding a lottery team.

That is my thought of tanking. Playing the young guys! Well as it stands no player on this team is over 25, right? Well outside Martin but I would rather leave him on the bench..

I hope you grab the right player in the Draft, Noel is the only one that fits in right now, but who knows how is going to look the roster.

my prediction
lin will missed 50% of the season
dwight will missed 75% of the season
end up with #1 pick
dwight doesn't want to play with rookie and demand a trade
we traded him to brooklyn for lopez and future 1st

I want their biggest wins to come against the Knicks. Hopefully nobody on the rockets misses a shot when they play us and Lin looks like the second coming of Stockton.

You know, anywhere else a "second coming of Stockton" comment would obviously be positive; but this is Houston...

Looks like the Knicks aren't matching
Al Iannazzone ‏@Al_Iannazzone

The Knicks just confirmed they are not matching Houston's offer sheet to Jeremy Lin.

I'm happy.

Fellow Texan here...Rocket fans are going to regret trading Lowry...Lowry is 5 times better than Lin...Congrats on the signing though...

Why don't you both just change your sigs and become a Rockets fan, there's nothing wrong with selling out and changing teams who has your favorite player. I happen to like the Rockets, I'm just a bigger Knicks fan, but I wouldn't sell out my favorite team and still pretend to be a fan on the Knicks Realgm board.

That being said, I wish the Rockets success this upcoming year and beyond and while I'm not happy about the Lin situation, I hope that Lin also has success in Houston. The Knicks/Rockets game will be priceless from this point forward....guarantee major network exposure!

Well, who knows you might be right. But I think, to help land Howard it was worth the trade. If we don't get him and Toronto does well, then yeah it would suck to get only a late mid round pick giving up Lowry. I think Lin is the real deal though, so we'll see if things pan out.

Come on... most of the Rox posters will come around... thats because Lin was the enemy

you cant help but to cheer for the guy...

he is like that fan that is picked out of their seat to take a half court shot for 1 million dollars...

you know you going to be jumping out of your seat to cheer when he hits the shot...

Return to Houston Rockets
