All will be forgotten if the Knicks win.
Who never hated Dolan besides 15 year old ignorant Knick fans like you?

Where's that picture of Dolan?

tell that to channing frye and landry fields
Tyreke Evans
OJ Mayo
Brandon Jennings
Darren Collison
oh look all combo guards with serious flaws and no 3 point shooting. All turnover prone outside of Mayo. All started sucking once the book was out on them.
Sounds like someone who used to be a Knick.
jennings had his best season last year, his rookie year was his worst statistically season . also if Lin is jennings( who will get the max contract btw) , that's actually pretty good

Wasn't OP the one who started the "Lin is the worst Knick of all time" thread last year? LOL

I'm, logically, very angry at everything right now.
I don't usually post like this but I have been driven to madness. I apologize.

Not going to wish harm on the guy so realistically speaking for how long will he still own the team?

All seriousness, if the Rockets land Dwight Howard and Lin becomes an All Star, Dolan will be publicly humiliated on a nightly basis in the national media, and his stock price might drop far enough to mandate a change.
People don't realize, but Jim Dolan doesn't own the Knicks. MSG, Inc. owns the Knicks. If that stock plummets or investors realize what a colossal mistake it was to let go of Lin, Dolan could very well be axed.

when he's on fire JR Smith is great to watch but i don't think it offsets him shooting 40% last year or 30% in the playoffs.
he seems like an interesting guy but at the same time seems a bit out of his head. what's up with throwing your teammate under the bus and talking about his contract and reckless driving that leads to your friend dying.

First 5 minutes of the opening game, fans should turn their back on the court for the first 5 minutes of the game.

Have you joined the dark side?
If year 4 were a player option I would understand this move.
I do not understand this move. Pure stupidity. Inconceivable. As men we all have thresholds... we can all take so much. I'm not turning a blind eye to the buffoonery that is this front office 1 day longer. I just ignored it with the hopes of 2010 being the year the tables get set in our favor... and that opportunity spiraled out of control so fast that it had my head spinning. But as a person I consider my self an original thinker and I couldn't align myself with a herd of blind sheep any longer.
So I said my peace to TKF... I apologized to KoS... and I extend an apology to you.. and Duetta... Clyde style and all the Knicks fans that are older than me... and I'm 38... been a fan since 84. I made a mistake... I can be a stubborn person that can argue two sides of the same story to death.
I like to play devils advocate and I love rooting for the underdog.
And trust me it's not the dark side... it's the seeing the light...![]()
I envy franchises like the Lakers, Celtics, Patriots, Spurs, Cardinals (bas) and all the other franchises that have strong ownership and good management.
It starts at the top and trickles downhill and we have undeniably, unquestionably one of the worst owners in sports history.
Not saying about the basketball stuff where we might have disagreed.. the stuff on the floor because I played competitive levels of basketball and I have some of my own personal ideas of what makes a winning team on the court.... but the ownership and the black cloud that comes with it? Yep.. should of paid it 100x more respect for how bad it really is.
Appreciated but no harm no foul, Ibraheim. We all lose our cool from time to time but for the most part you've been fun to debate with and will be a good and most welcome addition to the team
I'll likely be spotty around these parts for awhile - in part because of what just transpired but things have picked up in the Capn's world recently... hard to even focus on music anymore with a new job and move on the horizon. This certainly makes it easier to transition into paying less attention to this team.
What happened during Linsanity was one of the single most enjoyable things to watch in recent memory. It was what we all look for in a sporting event - the triumph of human will over adversity and prejudice. He was a joy to watch and a clearly joy for his teammates to play with (and I DON'T buy Melo as a scapegoat for this, btw. This is on our OWNER!). And it was ours to hold onto for as long as we wished.
The next chapters were going to be a bit different. As an established player in the league defenses were starting to gameplan for him with some success. He would have his slumps and the team was going to have its growing pains. They were going to have to live up to the bill of being contenders - no longer the underdog. But the stage was set. Make no mistake, he was a better player than Raymond Felton or Jason Kidd at this stage of his career. We would have three contending years with Melo and Stat and in year 4 we would turn the reigns over to Lin and Shump and see where that took us.
Inconceivable that we throw that opportunity away. And for what? Not basketball reasons (again, I could understand balking at a "year 4" opt in) but because the owner had a grudge. Because the owner fundamentally doesn't understand his business. The worst thing I can do is come back tomorrow and support that kind of thinking and management by giving it any more thought or commentary. Silence will be the best revenge possible.
I'll be through now and again to say hi though. Through the riff raff there be some good peeps on this forum.
Peace.

Hate Dolan but I still own shares in MSG so hopefully it doesn't get hurt badly tomorrow. I don't think it will because Lin leaving was price in or at least I hope. I'm sure a number of retail investors will get out. I'm going to wait but yeah I'm bailing on the stock too
