And I literally just gave you the statistics that said as PnR passers, they were dead even last season...so where are you getting this from? Because Lin spread the love? Felton's guys scored 53% of the time and Lin's 54%. Felton's "Tunnel Vision" accounted for a 1% field goal drop and guess what, he'll FIND AMARE MORE which was my point. No one said they had a magical connection. Stop exaggerating. The numbers say the two are neck and neck at effectively passing in the PnR. Why ignore that?

Can you find me his stats as a Knick?

I'm not a magician, I took the most recent stats...the one from his Blazer year that you harped on first and guess what, he was just as effective in the PnR as Lin...So if you're going to run in here and talk about him being awful at the PnR and Lin being so much better...at least acknowledge the statistic that's blatantly in front of you and clearly says "Nope...this is the one part of the game where Felton and Lin are equals."

Again, the facts based on last year...Both players were equally efficient passers in the PnR, but Felton found the Roll Man more. Nothing about a magical connection there, nothing about his year with the Knicks, but a clear statistic that bodes well for Stat as the role man. That's been the point and there's no debating that...Numbers wise, based on the most recent statistics, Stat should benefit from Felton running the PnR.

You need to get your facts straight, there was no re-negotiation. Houston upped the offer from the original verbal agreement, there's no other offers on the table so Lin had to agree.

gl, they are going to need it.

Amare doesn't care and Melo will score points but can't lead a team to a title. No pressure on them, we all know they stink by now.

This is so unbelievably stupid and makes no sense. We were basically gifted a PG out of nowhere, then miraculously granted Bird rights, and we basically throw it away because the owner's feelings were hurt. The one real advantage the Knicks have ever really had because of the salary cap was being so profitable that the luxury tax was never a concern, and we let that be the supposed reason for letting Lin walk. This is such an idiotic franchise, the only way this could not be a moronic basketball move is if there's some mysterious Chris Paul angle that none of us are seeing or maybe his injury being worse than being let on.

What's funny is that after everyone had been calling Doc Zaius out, he was right all along.

Having class, courtesy, and manners is important in asian culture. You can call him an idiot but its a cultural thing for East Asians to be respectful. So you may just really be feeling culture shock.

Time for the Knicks to get ready for next season. I do look forward to watching a revamped Knicks roster do even better this upcoming season.

Sigh... honestly, that's the thing that feels kind of raw to me about Jeremy. I totally get that he should try to get as much money as he can, but (maybe it's just the Asian cultural thing in me) but once you agree to something, you hold yourself to your word. Instead he (or his agent) decided to sign a better offer sheet. I know this may sound crazy to a lot of you but if I were in his position, I would have held the Rockets to the first offer sheet even if it meant taking a financial hit. That's just respect/honor and living by your word. It makes me sick we lost Lin but I've also soured on how he and his agent handled the whole thing.

I've been a fan of the Knicks for 20 something years and this is the first time though that I've really doubted what it means to be a fan. I know this team is far better than the teams of the early 2000's but I just find the nonsense that has been going on the last few years almost intolerable and this is kind of like the icing on the cake. I probably need some time and perspective but right now I'm kind of disgusted at both Lin and the Knicks (and the Rockets).

Here is my thing though. We don't have to speculate about what "should" happen with STAT and Raymond. We've done this before. We know exactly how STAT benefits from Ray. The answer is not that much, since he had to do most of the scoring on his own.

If Ray did better in Portland, so be it. I hope he is effective here.

I hope to god he falls flat on his face with the Rockets. 85% and sitting out during the playoffs? Go fk yourself china-man.

What's so funny? I seriously hope to god that Jeremy Lin falls flat on his face. Overrated because he's Asian. That's the god's honest truth.

Was the only difference in offers between the first reported and the official one was how it structured backloaded wise? Were they both 25 mill? If so, then I honestly believe Lin did not want to be a Knick.
