That picture of Dana with hair leading a boxercise class is pretty awesome. I have a lot of respect for the guy, actually, especially since he did the right thing and made connections with fighters directly. It's hard to ignore the guy who legitimized payment structure, riders, and a whole bunch of other things agents in other sports negotiate. Pre-Dana, I have a hard time believing MMA management existed beyond a brother or cousin who had access to a fax machine.

And he managed Chuck, Tiki, Tito.....and some others.
The guy's a machine in terms of travel.
His sked is insane.

Dana must have some epic stories.
I read some interview with Dana awhile back that went pretty indepth with a lot of stuff. He actually did have some great stories, I want to say he was involved with the mob or something for awhile (as in, in conflict with, not a part of), and some other stuff. Want to say he talked about his mom and stuff in there as well, but I can't remember where I read it now. It was a long video interview, broken up into segments and stuff.

The guy is running himself into the ground. A few of his recent vlogs have shown him either getting sick, on an iv, or just looking run down as hell in general.

That's not normal, right?

Not normal, but I'm almost positive one of the recent vlogs had him on an IV after he just collapsed on the way to one of the events. I assume(d) it had something to do with his weird ear thing, not sure, been awhile. But I think it was close to the one ufc event he missed (the zomie fuel card). Not sure if related.

Re: Non-threadworthy MMA Rumors/Quotes/Tweets, etc.
After hearing Overeem's comment about how he (JDS) was afraid to fight him:
"The school of Chael Sonnen has more students," dos Santos said with a big smile. "This guy is going to start to talk a lot of (expletive) because he saw the UFC give Chael Sonnen a chance to fight Anderson again, but man, I'm not afraid of him. I'm not afraid of anybody here."
Gotta love JDS. I hope he KTFO of Overeem whenever they match up.

Every single professional kickboxer/boxer I've ever encountered has led boxercise classes...or aerobic conditioning classes anyways. There are a lot of bad, bad men who teach housewives how to throw 2-3-2s.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Vinny Magalhaes returns at UFC 151 apparently, opponent not yet known. One of my favourite non-UFC fighters, hopefully he does better this time around.

He's still at LHW, right?
Really hope he puts it together. Would be nice to have an elite submission guy in the ranks at 205 in the UFC.

Yeah still at 205, he walks around at about 230-235 apparently when he's in shape

Yeah, he's an interesting addition to their roster even if he's got an obvious ceiling. Good match-ups and willing to pull guard.
Maybe start him against Forrest even. Would have been happy to see him against Rich or Wanderlei or someone else I don't want to sustain more damage.

Fighter's earnings for UFC on FX came out... Ian McCall made $9K to show. As a headliner. In a title eliminator.
Justify that, Zuffa zombies. (I don't think any are here).
I guess now UC is saying that he made over $80,000.

Re: Non-threadworthy MMA Rumors/Quotes/Tweets, etc.
Not saying its not a ton better than 9k, but McCall making 80k and the ufc paying McCall 80k are different things. Isn't he saying he made the 9k, and then zuffa paid him an extra 25k right away? So the ufc paid him 34k. Was the rest sponsor money?
Does anyone know details here? McCall seems to be switching back and forth on his description of things from his first and second fights, so my statements above could be off as well.

Disclaimer: Got this from UG. This is some MMA fighter from Poland.
He did an absolutely f'd up thing to his face.
Not for the squeamish.
I agree with the idea that this will open up as soon as he gets cracked.
Not going to embed, but click the link if you want.
But... enjoy.

I simply don't believe McCall......
And I hate his whole hipster get-up.
Roy Nelson on MMA Hour didn't seem to agree either, but I don't believe much Roy says either.
He did make the point that it must be nice to make $80,000 in a division with six guys.
MMA fighters do not make much money unless they're at a decent level.

Come on, Andy, this is ridiculous.
Rockhold would get finished in under a round.

Re: Non-threadworthy MMA Rumors/Quotes/Tweets, etc.
I have no idea why those guys think the champion gets to choose who he fights. If you are a guy at the end of your career who is only interested in big fights, then sure. If you are a guy who was promised a shot and want to wait, sure. If you have a strap you shouldn't get any say whatsoever. Wasn't Weidman saying on Ariel's show that Joe Silva told him the ufc wants him to get the shot but Anderson is objecting? Its not right. And I understand people not thinking Lombard is worthy, but to say he needs 3 ufc wins is a little silly imo. Hell, Jake Shields got a shot after a loss to Kampmann.
