http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=223668

Just a few highlights:
- The Bulls notified Morey that they won't match Asik
- Asik/Lin won't effect HOU puruit of D12
- Hennigen is looking to rebuild. Doesn't want Bynums contract or anyone's at all. Rebuild the way OKC did. Picks and picks... He doesnt want to be good in year 1, 2, or even 3. Just get pieces each and every year.
- Jordan Hill hasn't signed with the Lakers neither has Ebanks. Both told they could be in S&T. Orlando likes both in a possible 3 team deal.
- Magic want cheap, young prospects
- ORL loves the pieces the Rockets have. In love with Lamb.
- HOU likes Bynum

You can take a read for yourself if interested.

Wonderful...

If that's true... Who's going to be our new GM in year 4?

It's a rebuild....not sure what you expect when you rebuild....

Honestly don't know what to tell you if you trully think the Magic are the ones taking the risk here.

I meant to say that between the Magic and Rockets, the majority of risk lies with Orlando.

Sure there's a risk that Dwight bolts next summer, but the only real threat at this point is Atlanta. That would mean he takes a pay cut to play on a less talented roster in a smaller market.

If that were the case, the Magic wouldn't be moving him.

Houston is taking a franchise altering risk.

It's just delusional payback for when we thought they were going to give us their entire roster and all of their picks and take on all of our toxic assets.

I disagree completely. Both Orlando and Houston are in a tough spot. Houston is locked into mediocrity and Orlando can not allow their franchise player to leave for nothing. Both have to make drastic moves and accept risk.

Houston guts their roster for one season. Most likely, Dwight walks next summer and they then move from a #8 seed / first round punching bag to the top 5 draft pick class and start rebuilding around some real talent.

Orlando on the other hand, will begin down that same road. They will simply do it a year earlier than Houston. Yes, there is a chance that Houston hits a home run and Dwight resigns. But that is highly unlikely at this point and hardly enough to push the majority of the risk onto Orlando.

Does no one read? This rumor hit 2 days ago. And Belinelli sucks. He is worse on defense than J-Rich.

I figured you would say that. I think the difference is that organizational fatigue has set in with him. He doesn't want to be with the Magic regardless of whether or not his options are limited next summer. He would very well just sign with the Hawks out of spite.

I would like the Rockets chances to re-sign him more than I like the Magic's.

CAN WE STOP SAYING WE HAVE BAD CONTRACTS??? (outside of Jameer's that is)

Our contracts for Hedo, Duhon are good expiring contracts next summer and they don't bother us now. Sure, they bothered us prior to Deron signing with the Nets, but since that's over, it doesn't matter any more.

Jason Richardson and Glen Davis can both be waived using the Stretch Provision right now if we wanted. All they would count is roughly $2.5M each against our cap space. That's not BAAAAAD, like some people keep thinking.

Quentin Richardson's also an expiring contract after this season.... another tradeable asset.

Source says Brian Shaw turned down Bobcats job cause Magic assured him herd get that job. When interviewing process continued he withdrew

If that is true then Shaw has to realize you can't disrespect other potential candidates without at least giving them an interview and maybe we wanted to do some research on other people for future considerations or even a different assignment. For Shaw to walk away shows immaturity. He doesn't deserve to be coach if that is how he handles things. I call bull ****.
