He said he thinks it's a good move for Lin because he felt Lin would have taken a lot of the blame if the Knicks had failed which he feels is inevitable.

lin would get the blame? after linsanity ended and the knicks went on a losing streak i dont remember anyone blaming him. melo always gets blamed regardless. if stat comes in looking like a zombie again this year and felton stinks it up, chandler gets hurt and the team struggles... all we'll hear is how this is melo's fault. guaranteed. no one thinks logically when it comes to reasons for a teams lack of successes in ny. it always comes back to melo somehow, someway.

Dolan showed signs being concerned with his penny bank when he asked his last GM, who supposedly turned things around and changed the culture to take a 40% pay cut.

When is the last time Dolan has extended a young player when he's had the opportunity to do so? He hasn't been no holds barr with the bank account, in all respects.

Only when he wants to pack a nebula deep does he reach into the well. The sad thing is he always brings these nebulas aboard hoping they become like a Day Star(bright as the Sun) but ultimately they are what they've proven to be..... simply clouds of gas. When the season starts and they let it rip, it's going to stink

You rock a Melo avatar and I won't speculate why but if we're talking stooges here Melo is more part of a 3 stooge as anyone else affiliated with this organization. He's also more a Nebula than an actual Star and his career has proven this thus far in the NBA.

Figures that Asshola is now pro-Knicks ... and I guess pro-Dolan huh?

Because the team is now the utter mess he always wanted them to be and was hoping Dolan would make them. At least he was right about Dolan being an idiot -- but now he has to also support Dolan because he said no to Jeremy Lin and yes to JR Smith.

In a very convoluted way, Isola hated Dolan because he probably knows how stupid his judgment is and Isola is not that stupid (just evil). But Isola targeted Lin, because Lin was special and could rescue the Knicks from their misery, and now that Dolan dispatched of Lin because Dolan is an idiot, Isola has to line up behind Dolan. Any questions?
