Based on everything so far, it seems that Hennigan's stance is regardless of what Dwight is saying, his stats and presence say something else and therefore Dwight is still Dwight, the undisputed number one center in the game.

It's very annoying sure, but don't worry soon things will happen, just don't throw your momentum in one direction, I take this in stride, it's quite entertaining to see the media running around like they are, don't you agree? they always screw with our heads, now the gms and players can screw with theirs. :D

Well said dude, I just wanted to vent. haha

and that's what the forum is here for, thankfully we can all vent our frustrations and know others feel just as flustered sometimes. Bless Realgm :D

I'm a pretty patient individual but even I'm not covering this until the start of the season or another trade deadline.

what do you mean when you say "not covering this" i'm a bit lost as to what you're not covering bro. It's probably so simple too

And vent our frustrations we will do!

Forking A! The Lakers haven't been in the NBA finals in 2 years! Wtf man??? Now we got us some Nashtay and hopefully a lil D12 so we can get back in there and tap that ass!!! I'm **** fired up about the possibility of landing Dwight!!!!!' one more ring for Kobe and #17 for the Lakers and the fans ASAP!!!!

By the way love the Jamison pickup and I'd by lying if i didn't say I wasn't a little worried about what we can expect from Kobe this year. At times last year he looked very mortal, he had a decent playoff series vs oKc which is prOmising, and if that's a sign of what we can expect from Kobe going forward we're going to have to hope Nash and maybe Dwight can help pick up the slack created by Kobe's decline.

Heve you watched Kobe on the Olympic team so far? Very unimpressive. :(

If these Olympics are evident of anything it's that Kobe's about one more year away from just being done. A 2014 retirement doesn't sound so bad if you look at his play.

Agreed. Why does he look so bad??? The difference between him and LeBron is miles and miles apart.

Orlando has to understand that they cannot hit the home run and it is not going to happen. They just have to get the best deal as possible before they lose the Lakers then move on. It doesn't mean the Lakers will get Howard for sure, but for the leverage purpose. Lakers are going to walk away if it drag on then Orlando would inevitably let Houston low ball them in a fire sale deal or extend the drama until the trading deadline to have the leverage back. They basically are throwing it like D.West with how they are negotiating.

I wish he would have got treatment done on his knees and taken the summer off.

You and me both. He already has a gold medal. Let somebody else win one.

NBA championships are where it's at anyways.

Don't know, has he had the knee treatments yet? If not that's probably why, and this is Kobe we would've seen last year had it not been for the cryotherapies.

cryo Kobe with Nash-Jamison-Gasol-Bynum/Howard-fit Metta would be a killer.

I like the sound of Cryo-Kobe, it's ominous almost menacing.

Call him whatever you want I just want him to have a productive and efficient year next year. If he and Nash figure things out they should be able to to so but if it turns into one big tug of war for the ball things could get ugly. Kobe needs to let Nash be the facilitator...

The Lakers have stayed in contact with the Cavaliers in hopes of orchestrating a three-way deal with the Magic, but little progress has been made and no deal is remotely close, according to Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal. Right now, the Cavs don't seem willing to part with any of their young players including Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson, Tyler Zeller, and Kyrie Irving.

Kobe is old. Also Kobe's game is not that great for the international game. Kobe is a volume scorer. On team USA, he plays the Battier role.
