He won't do anything because he has proven to us that he just does not care about working hard and improving his game. MJ took a chance on this stiff and gave him 40 million dollars when he hadn't earned a contract anywhere close to that. Tyrus paid MJ back by coming into camp out of shape. Now all of a sudden we're supposed to believe Tyrus has busted his ass this off season to play in an up tempo style when he's shown he can't even play in a slow style. Disgusting.

Not that I want UPS on the team, but because we owe this horrible player Tyrus Thomas so much money, we're forced to look for a better option at PF. So UPS had to go because we need to find an upgrade over Thomas whose ass will probably be planted on the bench. I wouldn't play him. Let him rot at the end of the bench and have the fans ridicule him all season long.

:x :o  Hum... Whats Cho up to now? UPS could play a decent 4? Maybe they are going to bring a Dleague player up? Hunter looked decent the other night. They need to release Higgins and sign another Vet point for insurance in case Sessions gets hurt. Also maybe a 4-5 type player? Its going to be a long season.

Very disappointing. UPS was a silver lining in a lot of very dreary games last year. Often the only one still working when we were down 30. Deserves better.

I am also looking forward to see what Tyrus Thomas can do with Dunlap. This is his last chance. No matter how awful he was last year, he also had a lot of stuff stacked against him. If he really is putting on weight and working hard we could see a return to the Tyrus of old. We'll see, but if Dunlap can get Thomas going again he would be a savior!

If Dunlap can make a player out of tt, he deserves to be coach of the year

Trying hard has nothing to do with it. Skills-wise, he just wasn't that good. UPS is nice to have as a 12th man because he probably works hard in practice, but because we're forced into keeping Tyrus around we need an upgrade over UPS at the PF spot. Right now we have to keep our options open at PF until we settle TT's roster and money clogging situation.

:o :o :-? :-? Just like I said Cho is up to something? Needs Roster Spots to put best team he can on floor now while still building thru the draft and free agency. Still think he is watching who is released by teams after training camp in October. Also any teams that need a partner in a 3-4 way trade. Its sad to lose UPS but this is a business,Cho is on a timetable, and all of us want to win.

have to agree with Battery, at the moment with this roster we are reliant on TT turning up and being worth something. Not an ideal situation to be in.

As much as I liked Ups we needed the flexibility of grabbing a solid Pf.

Hopefully this could mean Landry. He might say he wants to win, but I think we're the only team that could offer him a starting spot.

I agree. If Landry wants to start, you would have to think this is likely one of the only places that could happen. I really like what Landry can bring to the table and if UPS is a casualty so we could get Landry, I'm fine with that.

Well with Tyrus he wasn't mentally able to play. UPS plays 2 positions, 3 and 4, fine as a 4th forward on the team. No matter who you get you still need your 9th-12th spots filled. I understand the cap hold situation and that's fine, but they should resign him for the minimum. Consistency is important too.

I think the Bobcats need to add another PG onto the roster that wouldn't mind being a inactive most of the season. I wouldn't mind if they took a flyer on a guy like Diante Garrett (currently playing for Phoenix Suns Summer League team) or A.J. Price if he's still floating around without a job.

But they see Higgins as the 3rd PG! That's why they're playing him in the SL at PG with Carlon Brown at SG. I want anybody but Higgins, but no way they cut Higgins in favor of someone like Diante Garrett. I mean they're cutting loose much better and more useful players like Dante Cunningham last yr and UPS this yr to keep f****g Higgins around. It's insane!
