First off, why is everyone all ofa sudden think BBD is great now. Im tired of hearing "oh he played great in the playoffs!" Really? He had 3 games of which he shot 40% or lower.......... AS A CENTER! He is undersized as a center and will get killed by the likes of players like Roy Hibbert, Bynum, Howard, or anyone else that is 7 feet or taller. Hell, Id say Lopez could contain BBD. If hes is moved back to PF, hes just going to settle on those 18 foot jumpers, which I think he hits at 30%. Dont quote me on that figure though. He has 3 more years on his contract. Its a bad contract and it needs to be shipped out.

1) Big Baby Davis is a SOLID role Player
2) 6 million and change for a Role Player isnt bad when this Offseason weve seen Players get Overpaid by alot(looking at you Brook).
3) BBD is exactly the kind of Player Henny Likes.
4) you know theres a thing called the cap floor and u cant spend Below that on a team so im fine with a slight overpay for BBD when the team needs leaders and BBD is a Leader

Plus, BBD has never gotten the chance to be a full time starter until now because he has been in the shadows in Boston and behind Dwight/Ryno. He is young and dedicated to being a leader who really wants to improve while he likes it here. I was a critic when he first got here and towards the end of the season he changed my perception. I think BBD can get better and will shine in this league pending the right situation like a rebuilding Orlando team.

Just because you get a heap of cap room doesn't mean your gonna be able to convince a superstar to come to orlando, more then likely your gonna get desperate and give a 120 mill contract to the only star available the year you have cap space (Rashard Lewis) you can luck out and convince them but is any of those stars gonna be better then bynum? Bynum is a heck of a center don't be dissapointed if we get him.

I'm just saying that business are the ones who buy the crazy expensive club seats, boxes etc and they don't buy them to go themselves. They use them to give to clients and woo potential clients. When the clients and potential clients have no interest in seeing the terrible team they won't spend the money.

Yes, I would not like to get a call saying I have great seats to the solar bears.

I dont know, i just dont know what BBD can bring. I understand Asik is about to get paid an absurd amount and a lot of players are getting more money than their worth, but I just dont see BBD being consistent enough, night in and night out. But hey, if were tanking this year, then im all for keeping him......

Come on man, I have tons of relationships with vendors who try and use magic tix to put them over the top, and with me it works. But if the team absolutely blows those business are going to use that money on something else to bribe people for business. It has nothing to do with selling ability.

So basically you want to go to Magic games and they will use their money else where and take you to maybe Solar Bear games and you don't like that!

Trust me. Business's will find other avenues to spend their money. Spending $8-10k on lower bowl seats to a losing team is not a good investment for a company to bring clients to. Now, concerts at the Amway may be.

previous 3 years before last year = 225, so yes, that is much more than 60 games.

played 50 reg season + 23 playoff in 08-09
played 65 + 23 in 09-10
played 54 + 10 in 10-11

probably because no one but Houston and Henny know what the Houston package is, and if we havent acted on it, its because Houston is in a position of power and is trying to do it while keeping most of their assets.

Just woke up and I see that nothing has developed further from last night in regards to this Dwight Howard fiasco. It's all good though, just want Henny and management to be patient and get the best deal.

Andrew bynum has played between 50 and 60 games in each of the last 4 regular seasons.

Therefore Andrew Bynum playing 60 games last year is not that impressive to me he's still injury prone and i think he will miss 20+ games playing an 82 game season.

Well, I agree with you, but the kind of people who buy courtside seats and luxury boxes in 2012-2013 and even the few years beyond that? Hard to close a deal with a client by saying "hey lets go see the 15 win Magic team with a bunch of unknowns get destroyed by 20 points tonight!" A half empty area is a bad option if you are in this as a business.....

This is a perfect example of why it's a business decision as well as a basketball one. I buy two club seats to take clients and prospective clients to games. If the team totally tanks, do I really want to invest that $10K, or do I look at some other way to invest it? For some folks that's not a big deal, but I assure you it's a huge deal for me.

Do small businesses take a chance on that kind of investment if the team is nothing but rookies and Anderson Varejeo?

If your business decisions really are affected whether a sports team that you actually do no business with other than go take clients to, depends if they win or not they that says something about YOUR selling ability!
