Another win, it was definetly tougher without Donuts and all these games in a short time.

Also, I just don't see it with Zoran. Maybe he'll give good high fives wearing warm-ups. :-?

I feel you. As much as I want to like the kid, Zoran was bricking like nobody's business. 1 for 8 from the field? 0 of 2 from downtown? Even on a rebuilding team, that's unacceptable.

You are right, he would make the tanking way too obvious.

Man I'm loving our team right now. Funny about a week ago I was almost jumping off the Rockets ship, but as soon as we amnestied Scola I realized that we were fully aboard the rebuilding process.

I'm all for getting Bynum or Howard, I think the bulk of our assets are Martin and TOR pick and give up a few of our prospects. D-Mo, Lamb, and Parsons are almost untouchable at this point I think but I'd be willing to give up Patterson, Morris, and maybe one of either White or Jones. If not, I'm liking the lineup we're rolling out right now and we still have tons of assets to use or trade in the future.

If you guys focus on rebuilding instead of making a big trade then you will build one hell of a basketball team. You guys already have what could be a great starting lineup in a couple seasons with Lin, Lamb, Parsons or White, Jones or Motiejunas and Asik. I also think you will see Patterson have a breakout season this year now that he is healthy. Then next offseason you guys will still have a ton of capspace to take a shot at some free agents if you want. The top guy that I think you should take a shot at is Ibaka if he makes it to restricted free agency. If the thunder match then no big deal but if you get him then you now have a monster shotblocker to go with your offensive minded bigs.

It's starting to look that way! I think we got ourselves a gem! :D

90sAllDecade wrote:Portland's Lillard might become an undersized SG ala Monte Ellis, (scoring wise, I didn't watch his defense closely) which is great for them, but I didn't see many assists from him.

He didn't assist very much because too many of his teammates blew their shots. He's a very willing passer and looks to get his teammates involved. Today he has 31 points and 7 assists against the Hawks including a mega dunk!

Warriors fan here. From what I've seen, I'm quite impressed by your young core.

Lamb looks like a stud and Jones and White look solid. Motie also has looked great at times. It's a nice core to have going forward IMO.
