Bynum's agent, David Lee, just put Woj's report about Bynum's short list (DAL,HOU,CLE) on blast and cast serious doubt on the idea that Bynum would even want to be in CLE long term at all

https://twitter.com/JasonLloydABJ

Andrew Bynum's agent, David Lee, told me he has had zero conversations with #Cavs GM Chris Grant about a possible trade. "I would imagine any team involved in this trade would be smart enough to talk to us," Lee said, referring to the fact Bynum is entering the final year of his deal.

Lee wouldn't comment when asked if Bynum would be open to signing a long-term deal with the #Cavs. "We are not in position to discuss that at this time," he said.

David Lee, Bynum's agent, said he was baffled by the recent Yahoo! report that listed Cleveland as a potential destination for Bynum in free agency. "When I read it online I was in Alaska with Andrew and his family ... I was taken aback by the list considering there is nobody in anybody’s camp he could’ve been talking to. I have no idea where that came about."

Lee DID NOT say this, but after hanging up with him, I had the distinct impression Bynum is not interested in coming here long term. Again, that is strictly my opinion based on the phone call. The fact is he said they weren't in position to discuss it at this time.

If a deal was close, #Cavs would be allowed (with permission from Lakers) to talk to Bynum's agent. David Lee said so himself. It's common in deals of this magnitude. There have been no talks between #Cavs and Bynum's camp. None.

anyway, if bynum's camp has had zero conversations and has given no inclination that he'd want to stay in CLE...i'm going to assume this CLE talk is more fluff than substance.

I'm sure Cavs GM Chris Grant will talk to Bynum's agent David Lee once they are close to a trade... no point in doing it right now as they have barely agreed to the framework of a potential deal.

What I find funniest about all this is the assumption that Houston is going to come and blow away our latest offer. They can beat our latest offer by a small margin and get Dwight. All that bitching and moaning about what Orlando is going to get is hilarious.

Gilbert probably doesn't want to help a big market team. Instead he's probably just trying create a relationship problem between the lakers and Andrew in hopes he can exploit it in free agency.

I figured he was trying to help create a super team to stop Lebron from winning more titles.

Dwight Howard hasn't personally informed the Los Angeles Lakers that he would re-sign next summer, but he's expected to do so very soon.

What an overreaction. All that is saying is that Howard is going to tell LA directly that he will commit to them. That's even better than Jarrod Rudolph going everywhere and telling his intentions.
