Re: Bynum Trade
Bynum is the type of player that will dog it if he goes to a situation that isn't LA, Miami, Boston, or SA. If you think he would put up the same numbers/have the same impact in Orlando or Cleveland you are living in a 2k12 fantasy world.

Re: Bynum Trade
Would I take Andrew Bynum on the team? Hmm, let me think

No.
I wouldn't even trade Diop for him. **** Andrew Bynum

Re: Bynum Trade
I would trade for him for trade purposes only. I wouldn't want him a Bobcat for more than a week, I don't even want him to wear a Cats uniform.
Besides, he'd probably go back to being a 15/8 guy if he were to be a first option, so we'd sell high, but I'm not interested in trading for him in the 1st place.

Re: Bynum Trade
I don't think Bynum will succeed as a number 1 option copping all the double teams. He probably doesn't realise how lucky he's been playing along side Gasol, Bryant and even Odom.
I can see him getting frustrated and elbowing a towel boy or something.

Re: Bynum Trade
If MKG is in the deal then no. The highest we should go would be Diop 7.4 million expiring/Matt Carroll 3.5 million expiring/Kemba Walker/Bismack Biyombo/Portland and Detroit 1st. Bynum has already said he doesn't care where he plays because their is a bank in every city he just wont sign the extension because he loses 2 years and 50 million. I honestly don't think this year Bynum would help us make the playoffs. We would still have a top 5 pick but have the 2nd best center in the league and enough to go after another star.

Re: Bynum Trade
Do not want Bynum just because we would have to overpay in a trade to get him and then we would have his huge contract and not that much talent around him.
I like the path we are on now better and would rather wait and try to sign a free agent. If that doesnt work then you can always resort to dealing a prospect or two, but lets give this a shot first.
Bynum to me is a good player, but he is not great. I do not think he can be the best player on a championship team. He just doesnt have that winning mentality to me and he is a sore loser and quits easy.
