YES! I'm loving all the front court depth we have. A lot of teams wanted c.lee and clearly getting jj back was the best deal that was out there. *sarcasm*

Now it's

To clarify, the "inconceivable" part is the salary that Lee gets if only Johnson to HOU. Has to be more players in it to pay Lee market rate - John Hollinger

As a Boston fan, I'm thinking that Moore and Sean Williams are included to match Lees salary. Both have unguaranteed contracts so they can both be waived within the next two, three days I think.

Y'all should keep JJJ and Moore though. Both have upside, especially Moore.

only 6 players remain from last year's team:
Kevin Martin (STILL!)
Patrick Patterson
Chandler Parsons
Marcus Morris
Courtney Fortson
Greg Smith

Bye C.Lee. Good luck in Boston.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

good luck to courtney lee. I was a big Courtney Lee fan. He wasn't a top shooting guard in the league by any means but he is a good defender for his size, extremely athletic, and can shoot the 3 well. He can also create for himself a bit and drive the lanes.

But the rockets are on a rebuild. Lee goes on to a playoff team and i wish him the best. He will definitely contribute to the celtics.

But on a more important news, we were able to get another power forward! I didn't think it was possible but we manage to just keep adding needs to our roster. Mr power forward Kevin McHale himself must have some plan to win with an all 4 lineup.

Sean Williams is from Houston but he's a headcase.
He can play center and is still young at 25 so that is in his favor.
Boston got Lee for a bargain.

I think the main reason we did this was for the 2nd (from CHA, which will likely be in the 30's). Moore and WIlliams have UNG contracts, wouldn't be surprised to see if we waive em. JJJ showed some solid potential down the stretch for the C's last season, decent length, and a solid jump-shot, but with the already insane amount of youth we have at PF, I don't see him in our future plans either.

And this came in like what 5 minutes after the press conference w/ Lin was done? lol.

I support helping to strengthen any Eastern Conference Team (except Toronto, obviously) ;)

C's fan here.

Sean Williams has serious potential as a rebounder and doing "big man stuff" like setting picks and defending in the post. Obivously you guys have a crowded frontcourt as far as potential is concerned, but don't sleep on him. E'Twuan Moore is an extremely poised scorer, but he's small, athletically limited, can't play point, and can't defend. The kind of guy who doesn't play much, but scores 30 twice a year to remind people he exists. JaJuan Johnson is very bad. He gets bullied by bigger players and only takes jumpshots on offense. Expect nothing.

So overall not a very good deal. Guessing the Lakers and T'wolves dropped out of the conversation. Its not like y'all have a lack of young talent though.

We already know all those guys suck; it's already been reported that Moore and Williams are going to be waived. That Cats' second rounder is valuable to us though, and eating JJJ's $1M was worth it for us to get our hands on it.

3rd team is likely to be added to trade. Johnson doesn't want to play in Houston.

Does he have a no-trade clause?

I don't see Houston keeping him. I think that the plan would have always been to flip him.

Thanks for the update!
