Only problem I have with Brown is the question of position. Can he play as a 3rd PG? We don't really have room for another SG

I think he'd be fine as a 3rd PG but... Yeah he seems like a good guy to bring it up the floor, he couldn't be the primary playmaker on the floor though, he doesn't seem to have that quality.

Just give him HIggins spot and worry about fit later.

I like Hunter because he can defend 3s, 4s, and 5s

hes athletic enough to stay with some SF's, but he's also long enough to play with 4's and 5's (who arent 270+ lbs and can bull him)

he's a guy who will rebound and block shots, and give good effort on the court

at worst, he's a good guy to have on the team for practice purposes as a 11th to 15th man

Missed the game. But great to see us 4-0. Looks like Kemba, JT and Biyombo all played well.

not sure at this point what makes Kemba a "6th man Jason Terry type bench scorer" and Augustin a "pass first true PG"

it didnt make sense last year and doesnt make sense now. Kemba gets this system....the lack of turnovers shows that. I wonder if people will get off his nuts about that if he drops 7.5 dimes against 2 TOs or so this season

Relax folks...you all get a little over-hyped with summer league!

First, nice game by Kemba...most complete he's played in SL. Still puts up some UGLY shots, but at least he was more selective and played to his strengths. His bad FT shooting tells the story. He's all squiggily at the line or on his jump shots. No wonder he throws up as many airballs as my neighbor's son. Get him a shooting coach now!

We know Taylor has played well for a rookie. He wil get more exposed by stronger, faster players, but he will get better. He's a very good pick.

Biz played a little better, but he's still an enigma, an athletic protoplasm awaiting form and control. Mully was Mully...followed a strong game with a flopper. His inconsistency is his weakness. If he ever gets that solved, he could be a starter.

The two players we've seen emerge beyond those guys (and Hyphen's 1 game starring role) are UPS Jr. and Hunter. Brown is a better player than Higgins for sure, but I don't think he has a place here. He looks like a guy who could be a deep reserve in the NBA, but we're filled up at the 2. Hunter is a very active and engaged player. I'd be willing to sign him as our 15th man, but only after we see what other options are out there.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Very nice game by Kemba, if only he could do this on a more consistent basis! He really showed his ability to be a POINTGUARD today, not just a scoring guard. Made some really nice passes.

Taylor also bounced back a bit, had a nice performance.

Two guys that undoubtedly stick out from the guys not already on the roster are Carlon Brown and Othello Hunter. We have two roster spots left. If we don't land a Carl Landry, or another player like that, these guys are showing enough to at least consider them. Really like what both are doing, both should be invited to Training Camp no question.

that was probably my favorite kemba game i have seen, including all of last season (even the triple double game). that was the first time that it seemed like the passing/running the offense/looking for teammates 1st part of the game clicked for kemba. every time he beat his man off the dribble and got into the lane he was looking to go all the way to to the rim or looking to kick out to an open teammate. finally he didnt settle for taking that mid range jumper. FINALLY!!!! i really hope this is a defining moment in his career.
