Loved the bench back then. I think it was this game where Lou got that elbow from Bynum because he was straight up out-working and out-beasting LA's two 7 footers.

Thanks Beaz for refreshing my memory for some great moments of the last Suns team with any credibility. The bench was unbelievable. Too bad Gentry had to play Nash too many min. going into the PO, which worn him down to be sufficiently effective there. And Amare was just getting back from the eye surgery induced conditioning problem.
Had they kept the team's core, particularly hold onto Amare and Lou, with minor twists, they'd have been a serious contender in 2011 and 2012, now witnessing how Amare played like a MVP in NY that year. If instead their replacement deals they'd somehow use LB and Frye to get some other pieces, say for Gortat in 3-way involving Turkoglu to Magic,.... I believe Robin Lopez and Dragic would not regress like they did. sigh.

Going purely by averages they are extremely similar factor in Lee's defense and the fact that he plays within the team I don't see how you can possibly want Brown over Lee.
Absolutely but the difference is that Lee wants a long term deal while Brown is happy with just a 1 yr deal meaning we can dump him next season if there is a better option in FA.
Believe it or not, Brown got a lot better towards the end of the season when he finally understood the Suns system.

I actually agree with you here. Remember how J-Rich took a season to really get our system. Brown was learning towards the end that he didn't have to be a lesser version of Kobe to get his points. I would be fine giving Brown a 2 year with 2nd year TO. See if he actually gets it.

How do you find tapatalk? Is it worth paying the couple of bucks? I would only be using it so I could easily access this forum from my iPhone and make posts, which I can't currently do because I keep getting prompted to buy the damn app
