hey, i'm a big Sap fan, but truth is, nba's plenty of good PF. Under the new CBA, overpay a good player is a lux. Utah can offer a 8 millions per 4 year, not more.

As for Sap-Al situation, i think KOC will look for a good trade, otherwise, he'll offer a fair new contract or let them walk.

They're just expiring contracts now. Won't get much for them, and what we would get wouldn't make us much better this year. Maybe a trade for a wing of comparable value (either an expiring deal for a solid player for a bloated deal for pretty good player).

My preference is to get a 1st round pick obviously, but KOC hasn't exactly made stock-piling picks a priority.

if we leave their contract expires, we can still work on a sign and trade. Not a lot of teams will have 10+ millions in cap space free next year.
