Nobody is saying that they weren't top cass players but both are sliding down the backside of their careers.

No matter how much you want to rant neither PP or kobe are at the same level as Wade now.

actually i dont have kobe an pierce mixed in any way. kobe has always been better than pierce even when they were both in there primes. im comparing kobe and wade. as much as u say pp and kobe have declined Wade has also slipped a lot as well. my final point before I go to work. kobe is in the same league as Wade.

Kobe fans would say that.

Wade >>>>Kobe >>>PP

If you actually think this, then you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. Go away, troll.

if the thunder called and said dirant for wade you dont think the heat would do that if u actually tell me u think that than u are dillusional.

You're obviously not a Heat fan, so let me spell it out for you: Wade will never be traded. He is a Heat for life. He's the best thing that's ever happened to our franchise and trading him for anyone (yes, even someone like KD) would completely destroy our team's image of family and loyalty.

Wade didn't slip. He played 5 minutes less per game then usual because of injuries. He still shot ~50%FG. He just doesnt chuck up as many shots as Kobe does.

Guys just ignore the troll. Who cares what he has to say? Wade's game can speak for itself.

In a few days some ballboy will hear Dwight might go to the Rocets and start a thread about how we should be scared of them.

Let's just break it down like this. Dwight Howard is one of the most over rated players in history of the NBA. the dude has 0 Moves downlow. he's the best center in the league because the league has no centers. if he played in shaq and hakeems era, he would be the 8th best center in the league behind hakeem, d. robinson, ewing, shaq, mourning, mutombo, and rik smits. howard is a NOBODY.

Kobe is not the same guy he was, its not even close

Artest is washed up...

Gasol? his 12 ppg the last few seasons don't really scare me

Nash? I'd be interested to see how they get past okc. will nash be guarding durant, westbrook, or harden? ( <-----good luck with any of those)

Bynum has a few post moves. I think the lakers are better with bynum than they would be with dwight crybaby howard

It's only time to worry about L.A if they get a bunch of shooters for if they do get Dwight. They are not beating this team unless they can spread the floor. We will kill them on the perimeter.

I'm not sure if this is a genuine thought/concern or just a rally call. I'm a Lakers fan. Disclaimer in.

You guys are the reigning NBA champs. You have the best player in the NBA in Lebron. Your Big 3 now have 2 seasons of chemistry under their belt, including a championship run. The Lakers have some big names (with or without Dwight) but it's an aging squad. Yes, we have a team that we're rooting for and proud of. Yes, we believe we have a legitimate shot at the crown. But there's no way or reason that Heat fan would be worried about the Lakers. And as a Laker fan, we are aware of how great the Heat are but not worried about them either. That's why we're fans, right? :D

My hope (and David Stern's hope) is that our two teams meet up in the NBA Finals. Good luck. As much as I'm a Lakers fan, I'm also a fan of LBJ, D-Wade, and Bosh.

I'm not a fan of Spoelstra, but at least he's better than Mike Brown.

I gained alot of respect for you in this post not that I didn't have any, I just didn't know you now I realize your one of the few rational laker fans so I give it up to you sir.

To the OP No I am not, Thank you that is all.

I don't understand why people say this. Dwight isn't that big a step up from Bynum. So if you think they're unstoppable with Dwight, they're virtually unstoppable with Bynum. Nash was by far the biggest improvement they made, as PG was seriously a weak point for them last season. PEACE.

I would be more concerned about Wade, Lebron, and Bosh's health. If they are fully healthy going into the playoffs/finals, then the Heat can beat any team. But if one of the trio is out and you're facing against a Lakers with Dwight? Ya...I'd be scared as f***.

But fully healthy Lakers (+ Dwight) vs fully healthy Miami...I wouldn't be scared. Series could go either way, but there is no reason to be "scared."
