Would it?

We all know of your unhealthy hate for Evans, but can you at least try to be realistic here? I mean, the mere fact that the rumor is that that pick can snag Jimmer (whose value is miles short of Evans') should show you how naive your post is.

There's really no need to personally attack me up and down in your post because you're a giant Kings homer that loves Evans and can't deal with any discussion of his value that doesn't fit the mold you have created, on the T&T Board of all places...

I don't have an "unhealthy hater for Evans", I just call it like it is and most non-Kings fans that actually watch them the last few years understand his rookie year was a complete fluke due to a system setup to allow him to stat stuff to ROY with all care of wins and team play thrown out the window.

The last 2 years are the ones which are more indicative of his worth and play and the role he can play.

What makes Evans worth much more then a pick that is likely to fall anywhere from 10th to say 19th?

I would agree this would be a bad time for that type of swap, because you want to get a reasonable idea of where that pick would realistically land and yes, there would probably have to be some other small filler and incentive added.

And there isn't any "mere fact" that this pick can land Jimmer. This is nothing but a speculative rumor. Also value is not in a vacuum.

I doubt the Kings trade Jimmer any time this year or next year for that matter. Brooks is on, essentially, a 1 year contract to PROVE himself again to NBA execs. He chose a situation where he felt he could get the most minutes and be the most successful in the process. Brooks is just insurance for the Kings. If he works out GREAT. If not, oh well, this gives Jimmer an additional year to develop. He'll be fine.

If anyone on the Kings gets traded, IMO, it'll be Thornton, he has higher trade value and a larger contract while being redundant to many of the pieces the Kings already have.

Its a big risk trading the GS pick for Jimmer. I still think it winds up being a top 10 pick. I wouldn't do it if I were Utah..

Utah is insane if they trade that pick for Jimmer Fredette.

I wouldn't give it up for Evans either, but I can certainly understand why some would (and Why Kings fans think that wouldn't be enough). I don't like Evans' game at all, which I think puts me in the minority.

I see you haven't read any of my posts regarding the Kings. Calling me a 'homer' is about the most empty insult you could levy and proves that you're completely clueless here.

I've read the threads that mentioned Evans. You, along with 1 or 2 others, take the unhealthy Evans hate to new heights.

The last 2 years are the ones which are more indicative of his worth and play and the role he can play.

Do you have any idea what kind of player comes out of the 10th-19th pick on average? Obviously you don't.

Yeah.....what he said.

AS long as KOC is the GM of the Jazz, he will not trade the GSW pick for Jimmer.

If the Jazz do that trade I will rub a cheese grater on my sack and teabag into a jug of alcohol. It will hurt that bad.

Jimmer is a 6-2 shooting point guard........and has not shown much.

His value is a #20 to #30 1st round pick.....very low value.

Jimmer is a career backup.....shoot first point guards who cannot pass are rare. He is going to need to shoot 40% to stay in the league.

Short little honkies dont last in the league unless their name is Stockton.

Jimmer's reaction to losing his virginity and getting traded from Sacramento to Utah in the same 2 month span:
