If Crawford is as bad as you all are making him out to be then what the hell could the wiz possibly get in return for him??
For as many excuses we made for Wall about being in a dis-functional organization Crawford should at least be afford the same excuses.
He is a chucker but for a good portion of the season the teams half court offense was so bad that no one else really knew what to do, and it is an indictment of the coaching staff more than anything if they had better options and continued to let him chuck aimlessly. NO ONE ELSE COULD or WOULD score. John would defer to him because his wasn't comfortable with his own skills in the half court. We had no post options until Nene arrived.
I don't necessarily like his game either but I like the intensity that he plays with and I know he won't just give up the starting job to Beal without trying to challenge him in practice everyday. To me it's better than trading him for nothing and resigning an aged Mason to be a "decent" spot up shooter off the bench.
