Marshall is good on the break. That I will say.

Defensive agility is suspect. But that was not a surprise. If he can get a consistent shot he'll be okay. If not, well... it is what is.

Not sure he's ever hangin' his hat on D :P

That bounce pass was a thing of beauty.

By Marshall? I gave up on my feed since I couldn't tell who was who.

At the very least, if/when he starts getting more minutes, he'll make a pass or two or three per game that leave you almost speechless. He may not develop into what you want, and I'm sure that will be frustrating given he was a lottery pick, but his passing ability truly is special.

15/10...

I like a Lineup of Marshall fascilitating to Dudley, Beasley, Scola, Frye

Marshall/Dragic/Dudley/Beasley/Gortat

That would be fun to watch too..

He had a nice sneaky block after he got beat off the dribble too.

Morris beasting again, 25-11

Suns win 96-87

Why did MEM sign Bayless when Selby looks ready for 6th man duties??

TASTIC wrote:Marshall has solid numbers...but...I don't know why, I'm just not seeing "it"...Whatever that may be. He lacks aggression, creativity off the dribble, and most importantly speed/agility - their PG went straight in for a layup in the first quarter, Marshall literally didn't move - and it wasn't a blow-by layup

Selby is making every other guard look like a scrub, and Morris is doing likewise with frontcourt players

Lighty looks solid

that's the point...15 and 10 and you missed it :D

His game is cool, sneaky and effective. His stroke looks good. He passes the heck out of the ball. He he makes rookie doo doo plays sometimes, but........He went to NC on a scholarship, drafted 13 and set all kinds of assist records... You might want to trust to pros on this one....at least for now. The difference between them and most fans are, the fans can only see talent if it jumps off of the screen at them.

I was impressed with the way he handles the ball. And he is quick (crafty?) enough to penetrate as well. Maybe my expectations were so low, he couldn't do nothing but good in SL.

Morris is getting me excited for the season. He's a GROWN *** MAN out there.

I hate how most of the NBA.com highlights are of the Grizzlies...

But looking off the stats, Marshall finally had a good game! 15 pts, a couple of 3 pointers and 10 assists!

Morris continued his beasting...damn I'm really starting to consider Morris as the starting PF next season. Even though he's putting up these performances in just summer league, that fact that he's able to do it so consistently speaks volumes and his post game has really improved a lot now.

The player I've been watching most besides Marshall is Charles Garcia, he plays hard, battles under the basket, and seems quick off the dribble for a big man. Hope to see him make it into in the NBA.

Josh Selby is a beast, without Mayo in Memphis Selby could make a run at 6th Man of the Year

Also, Dan Majerle is my goddamn hero, always tan, basketball shorts on all day every day, great food at his restaurant.

So what's P.J. Tuckers position? Can he play at the two spot? I think he could be a cheap addition to this roster, I like his shooting, his defense and he's a great competitor.

I'm disappointed by Lighty. I thought he could do a little bit more on offense.

I'm not sure how he didn't make the all summer team. I hope this just pisses him off and makes him work harder while taking it out on opposing teams.

I'm disappointed by Lighty. I thought he could do a little bit more on offense.

As far as the rest of the Suns summer league players, Majerle said PJ Tucker "stood out the most" with his 6.2 rebound average. Tucker was a 2006 second round draft pick by Toronto after a standout college career at Texas. He's played the last five seasons overseas.

"He's just one of those pit bulls where you just put him out there," Majerle said. "He's just one of those glue guys that's going to guard everybody and do all the little things that help you win."

Marcus Landry, David Lighty and DeShawn Sims also played well according to Majerle.
