Not a good game for Val....He needs to start dunking some of those balls. When you're inside 3 feet these finger rolls will get rejected a lot in the NBA.

Not sure if this was posted before, it was uploaded a while ago, but it just got featured on the front page of NBA.com so I thought it was worth a post. ^___^

:( sorry haha, like I said the upload date was 4 months ago. But it's cool to see a Raptors player get some recognition on the front page.

Clearly defense is the difference between winning and losing for this team.

Posted. This is OT but JarJar Binks is the complete opposite of "inanimate". He's animated.

Seen this long time ago. It was a nice documentary to show on TV especially during this unbearable half-ass tanking season. It just makes us feel excited for his arrival next season.

No idea, but they had 20,000 posts between them. Hadn't seen a warning either, which is surprising, since they both seemed pretty solid. Some other guy named allenyang also got waived.

Some thoughts on the game:

Lithuania played best when Jonas was on the court and that was visible.

Jonas played mediocre defense. Some flashes were shown but he was dunked on at least 3 or 4 times.

He also played prety soft and lost on switches. Did not box out well.

Jonas only had 2 shots, in which a PnR was not involved- a post up and a set shot, both of which he missed.

He caught almost every single pass thrown to him very well. He has good hands. This seemed effortless. Could have picked up a couple charges as he rolls automatically and does not stop for defenders.

Mozgov is much bigger than him. He may have trouble against bigger guys in the NBA

Overall, I am impressed though from what I saw. I wish he got more playing time. I do not understand the coaches rotation. Songaila was playing like crap and that other guy #31 also sucked. Play my man Young Valentino. PLAY HIM! I want to see him for 35+ minutes. That would expose his game for its true strengths and weaknesses

I don't understand what you don't understand, the core roster changed significantly in the last week or so, coach is simply checking his options.

You can also expect to see Jonas play even less in the next game.

Well I haven't had the chance to watch a full Lithuania game until this one so that would explain why I do not understand his rotation.

If he is using these friendlies as a tester for different rotations then that's fine but Val should play more.

Im sure that Val's agent was told that Val shouldn't be putting his all out there to risk any injury or even a light setback. 100% percent that the raptors staff can put their opinion in rotations as well. Thats the only conclusion ive come to in regards to why he isnt playing as much and why his effort seems to be low. after all these are exhibition games right? Similar to summer league.
