Nazr Mohammed scouting report?

Post#1 » by Tetlak » Mon Jul 23, 2012 4:29 pm

After seeing the Bulls are close to signing him to be our backup C, I was curious as to how he plays nowadays. He used to be an undersized rebounding center with horrible hands and offense. What is he today? Thanks in advance.

If last season is any clue, he's done.

He's better than Aldrich. He's better than Thabeet. We are so fd at the center position...

If Aldrich and Thabeet can't do better than Nazr Mohammed last season, we're still better off just not having a backup center and playing Collison and Ibaka more (and going small), than forcing it.

I'm actually excited to see Aldrich/Thabeet on the floor. Maybe we can finally appreciate perkins better, or maybe we can finally see more minutes for Ibaka/Collison. Heck maybe more minutes for KD at the 4.

Well, if none of those things happen, then Aldrich/Thabeet would have played well enough to not cost us alot in term of team performance.
