If so, it could have been Rose/Wade/LeBron instead of Wade/LeBron/Bosh. I don't think Bosh was originally part of the big 3.

That's not to discredit Bosh. He has come up big for the heat in many many games. But if you put Rose on the Heat... all I can think of is unstoppable athletic speed. That is a dynasty.

Wade was pushing to get Bosh to Miami by moving expiring contracts, but Riley stayed the course. Wade and Bosh announced the day before LeBron. It was painfully obvious that Bosh was Miami-bound. Go check the RealGM Heat board back then, there were a ton of Toronto fans trolling threads about Bosh.

I believe Joe Johnson, LeBron, and Wade were the supposed to be the big 3. But money talks. Bosh also mentioned the season before free agency he wanted to be a Bull. So if Rose were still on his rookie contract, I'm sure it would be possible to gut the heat team, resign wade and sign lebron.

Bosh never mentioned he wanted to be a Bull. He was so quiet about it until the very end. But then certain changes he made starting tipping Raptor fans off that he was leaving. The only thing he ever said about another team was when Kings fans asked him if he would want to be a King during a game in Sacramento and he screamed HELL NO!

From what I remember, they traded Beasley for air so that they could sign Mike Miller so yes, they could of had all of the big 3 plus Rose.
