Since our season is going to be crap anyway, I'm quite pleased to see Henny playing some games. What does it really matter? I kind of want Dwight on the roster come the start of the season, just to see what happens. This **** is getting good.

Nobody needs to worry about that. The only guys who actually believe it all work for ESPN.

I expect a report of the Lakers dropping out and focusing on a Bynum extension in the next few days now

There's no way I see the Magic letting D12 step foot on the court without an extension. Having fans come boo D12 all season long and having the media constantly question them wouldn't be a good look for anyone in this situation. And given that D12 won't sign any extension with anyone, he'll be dealt before training camp, imo. If we thought last year was hell, just imagine what happens this year.

If D12 started the season wouldn't be all bad, especially if we make a move or 2 to show the new management is trying to acquire hence the Bucks deal... I am sure that would change a lot of fan's and D12 mind... We all know how fickle people's mind are in general

I really want to see it happen though. I want to see the misery on Dwight's face during home game boos.

I guaran-DAMN-tee you, that Dwight will agree to sign an extension with Houston or ANYONE!!!!

We can contend with Dwight if we pull off a trade for a tier two star like Ellis.

Getting D12 some help would change everything, for sure. But if the deal was there to get D12 some help, I feel like it would have been made by now.

Not sure it's worth all the turmoil to continue to hold out for a sucker to hand us a good player for the ones we're trying to dump. If it happens, awesome. I'll lead the parade and then welcome the idea of keeping D12. Until then, there's nothing on the floor that convinces me he'd want to stay.

Another masterpiece of an article by Chris Broussard where he said absolutely nothing except say Brooklyn Nets. Congrats Chris. We are all so proud of you.

That ship sailed the day we overpaid Jameer. We no longer have the leverage to tell the bucks that we have the cap space to sign Ellis next summer.

I'm not much of a fan of Ellis like most Magic supporters. He won't win a title. Much like Allen Iverson didn't win one.

Well, it's the truth. Unless we trade Dwight and get some team to take on our bigger contracts, it ain't happening. So the idea of pairing Dwight with a max FA is DEAD.

Every day that goes by, I have less and less confidence in our GM. Starting the season with D12 still on the roster could potentially be a disaster and at the very least give us even LESS leverage than we have now.

And I don't think Monta Ellis even comes CLOSE to moving Dwight one inch closer to staying. This relationship is long past dead.

To be fair, Iverson never played with D12.

nah, I would rather begin the tanking asap and just get Lamb and unload duhon. Even that crappy deal is better than going another year without a real chance to win it all and without cap space to make any moves to entice dwight to stay.

It was first reported as 19 mil over 3 years. It was listed on a few websites this week at 25 mil over 3 years.
