Best case scenario, he plays really well and the Yankees are again forced by their fanbase to spend like crazy on an extension, THEN he sucks.

His style of play being...slap hits and running fast? He still has it, and the Yankees seem to find a way to get the most out of their little retirement village they've built there, where he no longer is the focal point of the lineup.
