Brook Lopez: All-Star next season?

Post#1 » by caesarspoke » Tue Jul 24, 2012 7:28 pm

With this coming season having Deron and JJ at the wings, and coming back fully healed from his injury, will he be an allstar?

I sure hope not, or that would be a disgrace to the C position for an All Star Game.

If Dwight isn't in the East. Give me Hibbert, Monroe, Horford, oh and maybe even Barg considering he doesn't rebound either but he's a better scorer than Lopez

Not in BK but if he gets traded to Orlando he becomes the center-piece, yeah maybe.

No.

Please / End Thread before Turtlnjoi/Sefant777/Knick/Mavs/Lakers/Magic fans who hate the Nets come in trolling with their usual insults and spent jokes.

Howard
Hibbert
Chandler
Horford
Bosh

Chandler is so overrated as well, oh well. -_-

Either way you can be sure that if Dwight is in the East that Dwight and Tyson will be your two Cs in the East.

Guy really needs a kick in the ass, it's such a shame for his size/talent that atm he's a pathetic rebounder. Good thing he's still young at least

Based upon what? The guy is 24 years old and is averaging for his career 17/8/2. Now that he's playing with one of the best point guards in the league, if he averaged 20/10/2 would that be considered all-star worthy? What other centers besides Dwight/Bynum did you have in mind?

I'm so tired of people saying this. The gap in rebounding between Lopez and Bargnani is greater than the one Between Hibbert and Lopez.

Lopez career TRB%: 12.9
Bargnani career TRB%: 9.6

Lopez career Reb per game: 7.5
Bargnani career reb per game: 4.9

Now in terms of Bargnani being a better scorer:

Lopez career TS%: .560
Bargnani career TS%: .539

Lopez career Offensive Win Shares (251 games): 13.3
Bargnani career Offensive Win Shares (398 games): 8.6

Lopez career Offensive Rating: 110
Bargnani career offensive Rating 104

Lopez Career PER: 19.2
Bargnani Career PER: 14.6

Now tell me how the hell Bargnani is a a comparable rebounder and a better offensive player?

Oh and close this thread please... all this does is invite people that don't know a thing about Lopez (like the person I quoted) so they could bash him.

I'm going by last year. Could care less what Bargs numbers were 3 years ago. It's about what you've done for me recently.

Howard

Horford

Chandler

Hibbert

Noah

All would get in before Lopez.
