Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
For Wolves, deal clears cap space and apparently is a prelude to another potential signing or deal, sources say.

Along with Lopez, Suns would send Hakim Warrick to Hornets. Minny would send Wesley Johnson and a 1st round pick to the Suns, sources say.

Hornets, Suns, Wolves are nearing agreement on a 3-way deal that would send Robin Lopez to the Hornets in a sign-and-trade, sources tell Y!

I dont get it, how did the suns get a 1st and a guy that was the #4 pick 2 years ago for ROBIN LOPEZ (24 year old 5ppg/3rpg) and we get Gustavo Ayon for Ryan anderson (24 year old, 16/7.5)??

Thanks Otis

Am I missing something, why is Minny sending a pick and Mathews to the Suns?

Cap space. Could a pre-cursor to another deal, signing. Still, Kahn is nuts, dunno what Taylor sees in that goofball.

VGOSWAMI wrote:Great deal for the Hornets imo. I wasn't feeling Anthony Davis at center. At least this gives them the option to play Lopez at 5 and Davis at 4.

Suns also made out good with Wesley Johnson, who could finally get his shot in PHX, and a 1st.

There's always a deal to be made in the NBA.

Got that right, ALWAYS.

Some GM's (well, most) lack the persistence and creativity to get such a deal done. There's ALWAYS a way to improve your team, ALWAYS.

Btw, I love using the word "ALWAYS", especially in caps.

That's where we peaked (09' season) because of an incompetent FO, starting with Blowtis Smith and Dave Retwardzik.

Guys... guys... guys.... This is the middle of NBA Free Agency when a lot of critical moves are made for the upcoming season. Don't you know that's prime vacation time???

So of course we're gonna hear that the entire Magic FO went on vacation while we have no head coach and have the most distruntled star in the history of the NBA on our roster.

There's really only 1 free agent worth giving space to and that's AK47.

Warriors, T-Wolves in a two team race for Andrei Kirilenko. Kirilenko not interesting in signing with Nets for veterans minimum.

Looks like you are right...

I was thinking he's going to get like 6-8, I just looked and he made $17,823,000 in 2010! :o

Edit: Looks like he wants a two year 18 million deal. 9 mil per

I don't care if Howard starts the season in Orlando or finishes here at this point. As long as he does NOT end up in BRK at the trade deadline. Henny needs to make that clear to him now. Skip Bayless may have a point. Hold on to Howard and he will eventually sign and stay.

As far as the Ellis talk from the last thread...Ellis is NOT the answer. It is a CP3 AND Iggy type player or bust. We will always have the potential to get to the ECF every year with Howard but thats it.

Im with you 100%. I dont care really I just want the season to start.

Knowing our luck he'll take the MLE and be a bench player on a non-playoff team just to make us feel like crap.

I'm just hoping this is just the wait for Donatas to become available. I hope the rest of the Houston rookies don't sign their contracts anytime soon.
