Dwight Howard source tells me D12 hasn't completely closed door on #Magic "he's ok starting the year in Orlando" #Orlando #NBA
And then request a trade in February?
This is what is so stupid about Hennigans trip out there. Staying here until February is Howards ONLY chance to get to BK, Henny is screwing up a potential trade with Houston in order to give Dwhiner a chance to stick it to us again at the trade deadline. You don't think Fegan has anything to do with this? This is their plan to get to BK and it appears Henny is opening up the door. If he does this, we have someone who surpasses Otis in ignorance.
uhh noo..not really...bc if dwight tells he's ok with starting in orlando.... magic can simply tell him u said u wre cool with it and knew we wouldnt tarde u to brooklyn so now go explore free agency...all we know is u aint going to bklyn bc the return is not worth it.

Hiring Jacque should keep Dwight in Orlando.

If Henny and JV are going to LA this week, we should have a head coach in the next 24-48 hours.

Nothing new there, just an entire rundown of the last 3 years. Basically, letting Hedo walk and not resigning him was the reason this all fell apart.
It's crazy how much Howard has changed. I am friends with someone who has been a ticket holder for years and (he is right by the players bench), so basically he was close enough to hear players conversations and talk to them all the time. He said he saw Dwight's attitude start to change in late 09 and always said to me "Dwight's gonna leave etc", just based on what he heard from sitting there, and I never believed him, crazy huh? lol

I'm told Dwight open to staying, but #Magic better do some kissing up, stroking of his ego too, part of deal with super star #Orlando #NBA

In other words fans and F/O, bend over and get ready to take it up the ying-yang to placate another NBA narcissistic malcontent. Well, he IS NOT going to stick it to this fan. If the Magic take this clown back, I am done with the Magic. There are other teams and other sports. College hoops are much better anyway. The Magic front office and ownership are dysfunctional and perpetually inept. And I think there are a lot of fans out there who think the way I do. May not be the majority but I think it is a sizable number. Get rid of this cancer that is Dwight Howard!
THAT'LL BE THE DAY!

You and CourtsideTV better stock up on vaseline. And if you think Howard will bring you your championship, your IQ is about the same as Howard's. And that is a few points below the freezing point of mercury!

You sound bitter and shortsighted.
If Hennigan didnt take the Nets trade last month, why on earth would you think he would in February? Other trades would be out there because in the end its Dwight Howard we would be trading.
btw
NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THE REAL DEALS FOR HOWARD WERE! The hard-on we all have for the houston trade could be unjustified. Speculate all you want but don't take that speculation as truth and then use it to hate on your new GM, because you do not know anything but what a hand full of people report, and what they report has sometimes turned out to be nothing but a lie. Sports media is a business, and like every business the pressure to beat last years numbers is omnipresent. If we keep clicking every damn link to a story about Howard we'll only make it worse...so yeah i'm saying its all our faults. We created this mess...

Would you be so opposed to bending over for Dwight if your hemorrhoids weren't flaring up?

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XLII Off-Season Edition
My concern is that he is "open" to staying to avoid the Houston trip. We will probably be asked to "roll the dice". If we had "rolled the dice" last season he would have signed with the Nets the min he was allowed. We are suppost to believe that a 30 year old GM, rookie coach and 2 late draft picks changed his mind. This is all to avoid Houston, where his people know is the likely landing spot.

Bitter? Yes. Shortsighted? No! Do you really think the Magic will get a better deal at the deadline, when they HAVE to deal with someone, then they can now? They will deal with BK cause they HAVE TO. Who in the hell will want to rent Howard for a couple months? And if they do, what will they give up? 2 bags of Cheetos? And I bet you any trade with Houston now will be much better then what we will get from BK at the trade deadline.
