Rockets Royce White and Terrence Jones have signed their rookie deals, source said. Jeremy Lamb expected to sign in coming days.

And more Pincus with knowledge of deals never reported like Jameer's. Strange he writes that they are facts that we see on message boards but never announced by teams.

Eric Pincus ‏@EricPincus

I'd actually learned that Terrence Jones signed back on 7/9/12 - need to update HW Rockets page - can't be dealt til 8/9/12, technically

wow.

Hennigan is a fricken moron! He may as well go ahead and extend Hedo and JRich and Duhon now.
THAT'LL BE THE DAY!

Did no one but Skin read my post? Unless someone can prove otherwise, I don't see how the signing of these rookies in any way implies that Orlando can't trade Dwight to Houston and have these rookies on our roster before opening night (which will be no sooner than Oct. 30th).

Here's a closer look at #Orlando #Magic coaching candidate Jacque Vaughn: http://ht.ly/cuXbq #Spurs

Here is the link:
http://ht.ly/cuXbq

Something to pay attention to is the coaches he's been around.

• Played for the following head coaches: Roy Williams, Jerry Sloan, Lon Kruger, Doc Rivers, Terry Stotts, Lawrence Frank and Gregg Popovich

just like you dont have to be a great player to be a great coach, just because you are around good coaches doesnt mean you can become one.

BTW, Robin Lopez got a 15M/3years deal and people talk like BBD is overpaid.

OT: Not sure if you noticed this - I posted it a few threads ago for you:

This article/link was in the local paper for New Smyrna Beach, FL - I noticed that Florianópolis was in the list.

Wow the Rockets signing the rookies news really is depressing, I had my heart set on their rookies.

Ugh more time to drag this out

^^^^^^I never said that. But being around those coaches could possibly determine what kind of coaching philosophy Vaughn would bring to the Magic. That doesn't mean he's going to succeed like those coaches.

ORLANDO MAGIC

Probable starters: F Hedo Turkoglu, F Justin Harper :o , C Dwight Howard, G Jameer Nelson, G Jason Richardson.

Reserves: F/C Glen Davis, G J.J. Redick, G Chris Duhon, F Earl Clark, F Andrew Nicholson, C/F Gustavo Ayon (NG), C/F Kyle O’Quinn (C/F), G DeAndre Liggins (NG).

Needs: Rebuilding mode. A big, point guard and an additional wing would help round out the roster. Finding a way to hit the reset button in a deal for Howard is what the Magic wants to do, especially with game-changing prospects expected among the top two picks in the next few drafts.

Notes: It’s foolish to even talk about this team at this point. With Ryan Anderson shipped out, Chris Duhon set to be booed every time he touches the ball and a dire need for a true small forward who can actually move his feet, it’s not that the Magic don’t need to make alterations, it’s that they’re in a holding pattern a the moment. If I were signing three names to affordable deals, they would be Shelden Williams, Lester Hudson and James Anderson.

Sad day to be a Magic fan. Just once I wish we could make the right decision on something. Not this time I guess. Henny is pretty much Otis 2.0 at this point. Hope he does something to change my mind.

"@RCognition: You got @Tru_Harp32 starting and Glen Davis off the bench?" For now. Magic far from done, but this sec, DH here, go stretch 4.

Got some Monta Ellis news for you tonight, I'll tell you what a Milwaukee source told me at 11 on @WESH news #Magic #Orlando

I'm assuming if it was real news then it'd be told now.

Yup. Probably, something like "Monta only wants to be in Orlando if Dwight stays"... Duh

It's been quiet lately, so I don't mind the rumor. Even if it's really far fetched.
