Forcing turnovers is the key to breaks. Well, that and not neutering Sessions but we don't like talking about Bobcats with small hands. Yes, there was a Kwame joke in there somewhere.

Regarding SSOL... I think it's high time Bynum learned the three so a Nash/Pau PNR can work in a 4 out 1 in offense. What can Brown do for you? Zing

No, but I'd love to get a loooot more fastbreak points than we're currently getting. Don't know the numbers but we have a lot more horribly bad fastbreaks than I'd like to have.

Dwight would help over Bynum in the running the floor aspect

We don't need to placate to Steve on his past success. The Lakers are about controlling tempo, that was a garbage gimmick offense in Phoenix and it's the same reason they didn't win anything of note.

Bad idea OP.

Splendid, I still would love to see them get out and force turnovers.

Well wow, just looked up numbers and according to this site, we were 3rd worst in the entire league at fast break scoring, and worst in the league on the road. Ew. Lots of room for improvement.

I'll just be happy to see us stop giving Kobe the ball after 23 seconds expecting him to be able to do something with it....

Notice anything else? Phoenix, this supposedly great fastbreak team with Steve Nash, was 18th. Which underscores an important point that so many people miss with SSOL -- it's not about running, per se, as much as playing at a high tempo and ultra aggressive 3-point shooting. That's always been the key element, Nash either pushing and kicking or driving and kicking to 3-point shooters. Which is something we completely lack the personnel for, outside of Nash.

Mike Brown's brain has a 30 second lag.... 7 seconds or less would be too much for him

They will if Metta is in shape as he claims. Secondly if whoever is manning the middle is doing what they should, we will force those TO's also. But needing to run any variation of SSOL is just asinine when our team isn't built that way. That's why I said it's a bad idea.
