Doubt it's real.

It says Greinke/reliever/position player to Texas for Andrus/touted minor league starting pitcher.

says the brewers have requested to see the contract of Andrus and that the trade would be Elvis andrus and a starting minor league pitcher for Grienke

The problem with Andrus is he's a free agent in two years and Boras is his agent. You'd like a longer term solution than two years at most.

Andrus is a top level SS, which is why Profar has been brought up a lot because they have excess and we have a need at that spot.

Ah damn that sucks I was hoping he was locked up for awhile. I guess it depends on who the Pitcher coming back to us is if it is Perez then I say do it. Probably wishful thinking though lol.

That said he fills the Brewers biggest vacancy and worst case you could trade him for a haul in two years.

If it's Perez then I'd be very happy with that as a way to help the team next year and into the future. Rather the position player be someone like Morgan or Weeks but it's probably Hart or Ramirez.

I like Andrus, but I'd rather have a stud prospect.

I wouldnt sell low on Weeks hes much better then he has been this year. Id trade Morgan or Hart (Sell High). Keep Ramirez unless you trade him to LA for Zach Lee.

I think Perez is a stud prospect thats why I like it if its him. And even two years of Andrus would be nice compared to the **** we've trotted out there this year. Especially if you're of the belief that we can reload and compete next year.

I guess my main issue with a move garnered more to win now is, "how are we going to put a contending rotation in place for 2013"? Much less address the entire bullpen. I don't know, I like Andrus, but there better be a damn good pitching prospect attached, otherwise I'm looking elsewhere. I don't think this team is ready to contend now in terms of pitching, barring some major shakeup.

Keith Law was asked about a Greinke for Andrus trade. He said it'd be a hideous move for Texas. Think expecting Perez with him is ridiculous.
