watched the NBA announcement show. they didn't say more than a sentence about us and that was to say we'd be on TV from Memphis on MLK game. they even talked about Chicago taking a step back without mentioning us going around them. I'm pleased to see that the TV schedulers didn't forget us though. what did we have last year, one appearance on NBATV? this is much better.

I'm friggin' stoked; I'm travelling to the west coast for 3 weeks in November (from Oz) and will be in LA / SF for the games against the Lakers and Kings. Massive win for me.

We never get any TV love, but at least we got a few games after being the 3 seed last year. I don't want to jinx us but last season I predicted we would go 42-24. This year after looking through our schedule I am predicting 54-28.

Im looking forward to seeing the team on tv more this season; Hopefully they play up to the expectations. This is definitely a step in the right direction towards fixing the revenue problem the Pacers seem to have.

I don't think being on National TV helps with revenue. Isn't the TV package split evenly between all the teams and not just the teams whose games are broadcast? the thing that helps the big market teams is the huge amount they can get for their local broadcast rights. I'm sure the Knicks make a lot more from cable TV than Fox Sports pays the Pacers. more viewers equals more money.

Yes sir you're correct; what im implying is that there is a correlation between the more national air time a team gets; the more popular the team becomes which certainly helps revenues because more ppl would be interested in going to watch or seeing the team play. The Pacers are at a point in which they need to attract a larger fan base. Hopefully Paul George and George Hill have breakout years considering all the tv time. The exciting plays on national tv would certainly generate the type of buzz that will attract fans and fill some seats.

from your mouth to God's ears as we say. I agree that we should all hope that the increased appreciation that has us on TV more will translate into more local ticket buyers too. there will still be those snowy Tuesday night Bobcat's games, but I will join you in disappointment if Friday night games against good opponents don't bring back the playoff sell outs.
