What did you think?

I was just there today. Got the shwarma & a cup of tomato basil soup.

That is so totally my "that side of town" lunch place! :D

I was going to come in here and post another comment about how I've completely lost faith American law and politics, but now all I can think about is Michelle Jenneke's pre-race dance.

I ended up getting called to meet people for lunch every day last week, so didn't make it.

Nice article in the dream shake about Lin and how he won't be traded.

TDS wrote: Because if Morey trades Lin, this whole thing is going to come down on his head and destroy any goodwill he has left with agents. For years the Rockets have taken a hit by not extending contracts. I'm not going to get into that because it's neither here nor there, but suffice to say it factors in heavily.

When you don't extend players, it pisses them off. It pisses off their agents, so the agents steer their players away. And so it seriously deters other free agents from joining the Rockets. You can still land Omer Asik and guys of his caliber. That is, underrated players with minimal upside. I understand the stance behind the Rockets' policy, but it does certainly hinder the team in the free agent market and forces the building up of assets. Make no mistake: even if Morey is fired, as long as Les keeps this policy then no GM can ever do more than what the Boy Genius has done.

Good quote from tisbee there, too.
tisbee wrote: May be Morey’s attitude has PO’d agents, but… He’s gone out of his way to help Lee get w/a good team for a decent salary.(And let’s ignore just how badly several players and their agents have effed up,Lee being one of them. It looks like the Rockets were offering $5mil in their negotiations last season and Lee wanted what his contemporaries received, something like $8mil. Guess which he ended up closer to.) McGrady wanted NY and Morey got him there. Sign-n-trading Camby so he could get a better deal to a team he wanted to go to.(Remember a team can’t force a player into a sign-n-trade,the player has to want it too.)

Most importantly, didn’t anyone else notice ALL THREE of Houston’s draft picks played in SL WITHOUT contracts? When many other Firsts don’t unless they’re signed. The agents for Rocket First Rd picks evidently believe the Rockets can be trusted to do right.

Dude - the disbelief/disdainful looks of the volunteers behind her was priceless. They didn't know what to think!

As for Kam's Countrywoman....you could dismiss her as a gimmick, or just trying to get some attention by sexing it up....but she freaking destroyed the heat she was up against in this clip!

I'd buy that for a dollar.

I'd be lying if I said all Aussie women looked like this. But we sure do have some stunners here.

I like the way she proceeded to kick arse too.

The Dark Knight Rises was bloody spectacular!

Great ending to this series. Very happy with it.

I can't wait to have a movie marathon of these three when Rises comes out on DVD.

When we play the knicks, I want to annoint our mvp for the game with a Bane mask and that very slogan. Come to think of it, we should do that when we play Brooklyn too.

Especially if we win.

I'd prefer, Ah! I was wondering what would break first: your spirit, or your body! But the other is more fitting. Must watch again. Tomorrow is going to make for a busy day. Movies and Critical Mass

You know, if you like comic books, go find the trade paper back for the ultimate spider man volumes 1-2 or so. It's what the new spider man is based off of.

I know Moofs will eat me if I suggest you go on pirate bay and look. So don't go to pirate bay and look for it because it is most definitely not there, even if you are certain that the copyright holders have not pressed a dvd of the show since 2001.

It just saddens me. I have 90s Batman, X-Men, and Superman but there is no Spiderman. Could not find it anywhere and did not even think they ever pressed it on DVD. S**t I even found The Tick from the 90s.

Know very little about Pirate Bay and Torrents but I have found some episodes on Youtube

Would love to get into the comics. Keep telling myself I will but never do. :nonono:

Oh the 90s when cartoon were great.
