So Tmac is 6'10" now I guess.
I also like how a video of Kevin Garnett hitting fade away jumpers and jump shots over Josh(and also the MUCH bigger Eric Dampier) PROVES the Hawks couldn't beat the Celtics.
Ignoring that it took a ridiculous free throw advantage, Josh, Zaza, and Horford all going down with injury and one of the worse calls in Playoff history for the Hawks to lose by 3 in game 6.

See...this is why you get mocked.
You were wrong, you know you were wrong, yet instead of saying it, you say "agree to disagree".
This is worse that the game where Josh had 26 points through 3 quarters but you said he wasn't dominating the front line of Milwalkee because you said before the game he wouldn't be able to do anything against their bigs.
Sometimes, to have any type of credibility, you need to admit when you were wrong. I would think multiple pictures of Shane Battier standing next to 6'8" guys being the same height would force your hand here but still...come on dude.

Rip I really don't care anymore about Battier's height. I don't think it warrants half the thread about Josh's shot location.
But more relevant is the Milwaukee game where it was said pregame:
Josh Smith should get "50 touches down low". And
Josh was scoring all over double teams.
And I said Josh shouldn't be a go to scorer, and that we were stopping Josh from going inside down low.
Now if you rewatch you'll see he missed a grip of shots, mostly posting up and layups.
But if that screams pass him the ball more "inside" or "down low" then fine, who am I to argue or care?

^that was simply a bad game from smith. Nothing more. Nothing less. A terrible game doesn't mean he should get limited touches in the paint or post. C'mon now.

If you go back and read the game thread people were using the game as evidence of his go-to-scoring potential.

So...what you are arguing is that it would have been a bad idea to go to the guy they were doubling on the block every single time he touched it there. Is that what you are honestly arguing? You are REALLY going to argue that a guy getting double teamed on the block everytime while still scoring 26 points in 3 quarters says "Yeah...we totally shouldn't go to him" to you?
Again, not trying to beat the Battier height thing to death, but you are just one of those people that refuse to admit when they are OBVIOUSLY wrong. You are trying to go "Just forget it" like there is an argument to be made. YOU KNOW YOU ARE WRONG. There is literally no reality where you could be right about Battiers height and you KNOW this. ANd yet you keep that air of "Oh well, if you want to believe that go ahead".
There is literally NO WAY you can watch Smith in that Milwalkee game and come away with anything but him abusing that front line and showing he was the go to scorer for that game. Its this stuff that makes you look ridiculous sometimes, which is a shame because you can bring some legit b ball discussion, but dear god dude, learn to admit where you are wrong.

Here's an idea Rip, list the times where Josh played down low, got doubled, and it was a good idea because he or his teammates scored off the double teams. Because to the last poster he didn't like what he saw. That poster thinks what he saw did not scream go to scorer.
Go argue with him.
Then you can have your legit b ball discussion.

Re: Josh Smith, PFs, and Hoopdata Shot Location
Obviously the poster didn't watch the clip you put up.
Josh went for 30pts 18 rebounds and 5 assist in the game. You still say the game didn't show he could play the PF well, he didn't dominate scoring or on the boards and he wasn't a go to scorer.
And why? Because before the game you said Josh would struggle against the bigger front line of Mil. So no matter what happened you can't change what you said. So instead of saying "Wow, Josh proved me wrong tonight, great game Josh." you put together a clip to "prove" that being doubled, scoring 30 points and dominating the boards proves that Josh Smith can't draw a double, score, or dominate the boards over the Mil bigs.
If that makes sense to you, then there is nothing else to say. But lets just say that everyone else here sees that you will go to any lengths to be wrong. You are the equivalent to someone who has a typo and instead of saying it was wrong try to convince the world that thats how you actually spell the word.

You think I'm going to read 3 paragraphs when you lie in the first sentence? sheeeeee
That's a bold statement. And you shifting. I asked what happened when Smith got doubled and you go on a whole different tangent. Yeha I really said a near All Star cant play the 4 position well.
In context of winning a championship he's undersized unless you get a Durant or Lebron to offset that. Get over it.
The rest of your first sentence is garbage because its clear you don't even remember what you're talking about.

The statements I actually did make?
+ Josh's teammates were garbage, and I wanted Josh to sit back and see what his teamates can do
+ Parson came in and stated Josh is unstoppable down low, and we stopped going to him. I had the game, I said it wasn't true...He was making plays in transition etc.
Then you got the points mixed up looking at the wrong MIL game. He had 24 points on 19 shots.
Why do I even bother if You even got yourself mixed up on the games Which in turn had me mixed up for a second. The 30 point game was on 26 shots in case those were wondering.
It is my humble opinion
that he hasn't shown he can be a go to scorer. he's basically 1 pt for 1 shot attempt for the ENTIRE season.
He can't post up Bosh or Garnett the guys who were in front of us. He misses point-blank layups due to being undersized and its a regular thing.
Look, Most of those points on Milwaukee are hustle plays. Yeah, One time he brought the ball up crossed over 3 times and drove and the shot almost came out. But yeah he scored by ignoring the PG.
Got a grip of his assists that way too. So I want you advocating Josh ignoring the PG when someone comes after Josh on the subject. Alright? Cuz I dont remember you saying anything about it when I was saying thats how Josh gets involved. But here you are saying that clip makes him a go to scorer. But then again you're confused on the points so ...
Now to the point about rebounds:
End of the game after giving up the rebound, I said Ilyasova outrebounds Josh, people use context clues much anymore? Obviously I didnt have the box score in front of me. I was watching the game and we just let MIL come back and tie the game.
And then to the go to scoring point...So the game is tied ---Josh don't even touch the rock. Go-to-scoring? Where you going to feed him?
He's an Iguodala. A utility player that you play off ball. Iso Josh is a mixed bag and yeah he got big #s on Ilyasova on the boards, but I was talking about one play. And that type of game against the Celtics? The Heat? The Knicks? It dont play.
Ilyasova and Gooden arent really the litmus test for anything. And then again you got the points mixed up - 19 shots and get 24 points - on Drew Gooden and them?
come on Son, edit: pared down to only post ups, and the end of game plays
