The only thing that must be terrifying if you're Arte is that if you are a WC team and not a division team, all that pitching counts for very little in a 1 and done playoff game.

Still regardless of whether they catch TEX, I think it's fairly safe to think that those two teams will take the AL West and one WC spot, which was assumed before the season began anyway.

Post season I'd prefer Haren over Wilson. Haren has pitched through back trouble this year and pitches better during the post season historically than Wilson does. I'll admit Wilson has played better than Haren this year but I'd have no confidence in Wilson come playoff time, specifically against the Rangers.
