Looked up betting site Argentina is heavy favorite : Argentina 1.36 vs 2.9 Lithuania... I made some nice money betting in 2010 against Argentina, Serbia vs Lith. Seems it will be same story :)

Scola at C and Manu's penetration will make it hard for Jonas to stay out of foul trouble. OTOH Lithuania can probably get away without playing a true C in this game for long periods

Yea I could see that happening I hope Lith will give Jonas ball early and tell to be aggresive to get some fouls against Scola though I wouldnt be surprised if he wont be playing a lot. Scola is 6'9'' so PFs can guard him or even put Kleiza at C for some streches ( now when he is fatass I saw him being quite affective against shorter bigs) and run. Lineup of Kalnietis, Seibutis, Jasaitis or Pocius, Maciulis, Kleiza would run the **** out of them.

2.9 for Lithuania's victory is absolutely insane. Would bet on that if I had a chance.

On the other hand, that team is like retirement castle :

Scola : 32y. old.
Nocioni : 32y.
Delfino : 29
Ginobili : 35
Prigioni : 35

Jasen : 34
Guttierez : 34
Kammerichs : 32
Leiva : 32

Can't wait.

This Argentina team was in its prime in 2004....Manu Ginobili was unbelieveable in that Olympics

I gotta ask, do you put your old people in Castles in Lithuania?

We only put ours on ice floats here in Canada.

What site is that on? I don't understand betting but I feel like Lithuania is the favorite (http://sports.williamhill.com/bet/en-gb ... uania.html). Does 2.9 mean that if I bet 1 dollar on LTU winning I would receive 2.9 dollars? I wouldn't want to bet on score ranges etc... at a minimum maybe a win margin spread.

Dude...the kid is still only 20 years old.

I'll tell you this much...I think you can bank on him putting up better numbers than Anthony Davis.

Hang on! So Manu Ginobili was drafter 57th? That's like the biggest steal in draft history. :o

Well yes... second to last. back then, when NBA had 29 teams and 58 picks.
