Any interest in reuniting the Morris brothers in Phoenix?
Say, Marcus Morris, JuJuan Johnson for Wes Johnson and the T-Wolves/Grizzlies 1st?

No. Maybe Morris for Johnson straight up, but that pick is staying with us.

You've got to be effing kidding me. Do you always trade a $100 bill for a $1 bill?
Rox traded Chase Bud and have very high expectations for Marcus/Parsons over at that SF slot. He's not going anywhere.
We don't want no regressed, over-hyped-since-drafted-from-Syracuse, can't dribble a basketball, Josh Childress 2.0 in the name of Wesley Johnson.
If you want Marcus Morris - it's gonna be Wesley + 1st unprotected at the very least.

Re: Official Trade Thread: Part 3
If DeMarcus cousins gives Sacramento some problems in the next year or so I would like to put a package together for him centering around Gortat and a couple of our later picks. The kings seem a bit disjointed and we could capitalize on their mismanagement.
Cousins reminds me of Barkly in Philly and I believe getting out of Sacramento would do wonders for him.

I've made it quite clear for 2 years and running that I'm a Rockets fan. No secret here. Been there done that w/ this same discussion so no need to go over it again.

I highly doubt any of you would want me to say 'We' for anything Suns related to begin with so thank your lucky stars I'm not saying 'We' for Suns-related topics.
You people ought to stop flip-flopping like John Kerry. When I speak about Suns, they say: "GTFO stop saying 'we' for Suns." When I speak about Rockets, they say: "What do u mean we. Multiple personality disorder?"
Now stop coming up w/ stupid lop-sided trades. The NBA doesn't revolve around Suns. If you want Marcus Morris, it's gonna be Morris for unprotected 1st and Wesley.

Its ok, we will watch him in the D-league next year, then wait for the Rockets to dump his salary (along with a 1st rounder) to us, so they can try to make room for an unsuccessful run at Dwight.

He doesnt, and his agent has stated that numerous times.
Houston is just dumb. They think that they can trade everything of value that they have on their roster to Orlando for Howard (and most likely also take back Jrich & Hedo), and somehow convince Howard to stay. I really do wish that HOU and ORL would make that trade, as i would laugh my ass off next year when Howard walks in FA, leaving the Rockets with JRICH/Hedo and a roster full of crap that Orlando didnt want.
Lin/Jrich/Hedo/????/Howard. <--- Thats supposed to keep Howard in Houston?

The power of a rental turned long-term. We've seen it many times in history of sports - and most recently with Deron Williams. Don't you remember how furious he was when he was traded to Nets for Devin Harris? Then re-signed in the midst of confusion and nobody on roster except newly acquired Joe Johnson.
The power of a rental, my friend. You bring on Dwight for a season (or half season during deadline) and he'll appreciate the wonderful GM, the coach, and the young supporting cast.
A rental is a beautiful thing.

Re: Official Trade Thread: Part 3
I hope the trade doesn't happen so the Rockets have a roster of 1 PG, 1 SG, 2 SFs, and 7 PFs...
It would be tough to win more than 7 games with the team they have now...

Clearly u don't know the Rockets roster. The problem with your statement is that nearly half of the power forwards are non-guaranteed contracts that will be waived soon. And they have 3 point guards, 3 shooting guards, 3 small forwards, and 2 centers (Asik, Montejunias)
1. K Martin
2. C Parson
3. P Patterson
4. M Morris
5. T Douglas
6. J Lin
7. O Asik
8. S Livingston (partial guaranteed)
9. G Forbes
10. D Mo
11. J Lamb
12. R White
13. T Jones
14. J Johnson
15. J Brockman (partial guarantee)
16. G Smith (partial guaranteed)
17. Williams (non guaranteed if waived by 1 Aug)
18. Harrilson (non guaranteed if waived by 15 Aug)
19. Forston (non guaranteed)
20. Simpson (non guaranteed)
21. Montejunias

Still the most unattractive team in the NBA.
If they win more than 10 games I will make you a cake out of beer.

Houston would have to take back salary and give away most of their young guys for a few months of Howard. If they feel it's worth it then go for it, but with Dwight, I don't see much loyalty coming from him at this point.
