Been listening to Meek Mill a lot lately, about through all his mixtapes. He's good, real amped style. Good for **** like league.

Found a website where you can download a lot of ebooks for free.
www.tuebl.com
Finished Stranger in a strange land, it was excellent(have a physical copy). I downloaded Starship Troopers also by Robert Heinlen, the Rama/2001 space Odyssey series by Arthur C. Clarke and a lot of Michael Crichton.
Oh yea, Fahrenheit 451 to reread, I don't remember what the hype was about.

Re: Comm Thread: Cliffhangers, Cliffdwellers and Cliffdivers
they are all very good. my personal favorites are galapagos, cats cradle and welcome to the monkey house (short stories). hes actually the only author who i actually own almost every book of, i have all those as well as breakfast of champions, the sirens of titan and slaughterhouse five. i have read every single one of his books and i can say that you cant really go wrong with any of them. except palm sunday, that one is meh.

Re: Comm Thread: Cliffhangers, Cliffdwellers and Cliffdivers
of course there is the obligatory slaughterhouse five which most people consider a classic/his best work, but those are my recommendations.

They had Slaughterhouse 5, cat's cradle, monkey house and breakfast of champions, so I dl'd them. As well as timescape.
Good, I like short stories, and also Vonnegut's surreal style. Gonna help with my insomnia.

Re: Comm Thread: Cliffhangers, Cliffdwellers and Cliffdivers
yes i could honestly reread his books over and over. i started reading his books in like high school and i instantly fell in love with everything about his writing. his dark humor, the way he tells stories, the worlds and ideas he creates (everything about bokononism is win), etc. i also really enjoyed reading spy/mystery novels like stuff by clive cussler (read a bunch of dirk pitt stuff) back in the day too.
i would start with slaughterhouse 5. its not as strange as some his other books and it makes it really easy to get used to his style of writing, because i would call it fairly unique.

I was gonna read Under the Dome by Stephen King after I'm done with Rama: Revealed, but now you've got me intrigued. Gonna read Slaughterhouse 5 after R:R now.

it is just me or does using "yolo" for everyday mundane things cause it to lose its meaning?
maybe it should be saved for major things, like once in a lifetime things or my life could end if i did this type things
like "going streaking in front of the queen at the opening ceremony, yolo!!!!"

went around the u of m campus this weekend and we were driving down what appeared to be "frat row" and there were about five people sitting on a porch of a house drinking in the aftermath of what appeared to be one heck of a party
couple tables set up on the front lawn, at least a couple hundred cans, bottles, cups lying around, few empty cases, and then we see a similar sight right across the street!
i'm going into a whole new world i think
