I don't think so. That tpe is only a couple million and can't be combined with players.

Ryan was considered Byc so his deal only counted at half value so the tpe would be like 3 million or something like that.

trade a future 2nd round pick for a 3 million dollar expiring that plays PG :)

whats the point of getting iggy if were going to rebuild? with the direction the team is headed we need all the picks we can get

btw the report on lindsey hunter is from sam amico from fox sports... if he's right, then his report that d12 will be traded by the end of the week could come be true

the Odds of finding a good player in the 2nd round is below average at best. a 2nd round pick for a PG whos fairly young and on an Expiring contract or a team that has him on a reasonable deal i would do it because im not impressed with the PG crop for next year and as much as Nelson is above average hes getting older and is better suited off the bench.

ironically, i'd say that taking the time to post a message stating how much of a waste of time it is to discuss something in a thread entitled "speculation thread", is probably the greater waste of time.

but hey, what do i know, i'm not from the internet police. can i go now officer?

Again, any time you hear a Dwight Howard "source" leak ask yourself: "Who would benefit by this going public?" Then decide if you trust it.

It has been confirmed the Magic received a 4.35 million TPE (might have been 4.25) from the Ryan Anderson sign and trade.

I'm really curious about Jameer's contract. Something's telling me he's going to get paid handsomely in the 1st year. Though, in the 2nd year (2013) he won't make near as much. A front loaded deal perhaps?

This Jameer contract thing is strange. I know a lot of us here are really getting at the reporters to find out what's up and no one is talking. I hope it's not what's been reported.

It didn't take that long to type don't worry... The sooner you can accept IT the easier it will be to move on..

It is speculation you're right and you can talk about whatever you want. You could even speculate on the idea of LeBron forcing a trade to Orlando if you want. The only difference between that and talking about a long-term Dwight plan is the former is more likely to happen.

very plausible.

a deal like that would probably also be a big signal towards the direction of the team (ie, looking to clear cap room for next summer), and would also be a give away in terms how important clearing deals like JRich/Turk off the books will be for us when negotiating with other teams either for Howard or other deals.

I was thinking that too, maybe the deal is abnormal and would signal some sort of plan or vision from the FO they don't want out there right now.
