Not gonna lie, i'm not a fan of big baby. But he earned some major points in my book for showing up. I don't know if I've ever seen a player show up to one of these unless it was about them. Especially if they're not the superstar.

If he learned from Pop, he will. Pop would bench Duncan, Parker and Ginobli during the entire 4th quarters if they weren't brining it.

What?

Chris Duhon.

Just because he played doesn't mean he wasn't held accountable.

He did not hold Duhon accountable. There is no debate to have here.

Now to figure out where Dwight is going..I have a feeling Houston is lowballing. My gut says we end up with Bynum but Henny prefers a full Houston package. Either is fine with me.

The Hunter hiring isn't official; at this point, it is just a rumor.

Gortat, Dwight Howard, Ryan Anderson, JJ, Courtney Lee, Hedo Turkoglu

If anything SVG was known for keeping his players TOO accountable. Having Chris Duhon in the rotation is literally the only thing he had wrong, in his rotation. I thought some of the criticism about SVG was him calling his players out in the post-game conferences. Is that not holding your players accountable?

this is what I LOVED about Pop! I pray JV does this also.

Considering the ridiculous circumstances that exist while this new coach is ushered in, I thought Jacque was awesome. It's a shame the Dwight thing is still going on, because the press conference could have been a lot more candid, I think. And Jacque looks like he'll be a lot of fun when he's in a situation where he does not have to tip-toe. But again, under the circumstances, I thought it was an awesome introduction.

Daryl Morey has positioned the Rockets for a blockbuster move after amnestying Luis Scola and selecting Jeremy Lamb, Royce White and Terrence Jones with the Nos. 12, 16 and 18 picks of last month’s draft.

Beyond Lamb, White and Jones, the Rockets could use a combination of 2011 draft picks Marcus Morris, Donatas Motiejunas and Chandler Parsons in a potential trade for Dwight Howard or Andrew Bynum.

“It’s very similar to what Boston did,” Morey said in reference to the Celtics’ 2008 trade for Kevin Garnett. “Hopefully, it will yield the same result.”

Houston is likely to have at least one lottery pick next summer, and could have another from Toronto as well.

“We’ll be very well set up in a year,” Morey said.

This has nothing to do with Duhon, I'm talking Hedo and JRich.

JV seems really impressionable and basketball smart. We definitely have a top flight FO/C staff in the making. I'm getting the vibe JV is going to be here a long time, gaining experience with the rebuild phase. It's on Hennigan now to get those drafts and trades right for a perfect rebuild, with or without Dwight.

I liked how Vaughn took all the Howard questions and answered them in a way to let people know that is more to the Magic then just Howard, its about the whole team.

I have to say that the Magic's tech people suck. I missed the beggining of the PC because the feed was down. Looks we need to hire the tech guys from San Antonio.

Last season how did SVG hold Hedo and JRich accountable.. He kept playing them when he should have benched them, both played poorly.

SVG played favorites. We all know this. He loved Turk and campaigned for JRich to be resigned last summer.
