Sam Amico ‏@SamAmicoFSO

Latest NBA buzz says Lindsey Hunter likely on way to Magic as assistant coach and Eddie Jordan to Lakers in same role.

What's the scoop on Eddie Jordan? I remember him with the Wizards, but looking at his tenure as a head coach he only had 2 winning seasons (along with one 41-41 year).

What are his strengths/weaknesses?

I heard that he runs the Princeton offense that doesnt fit the crew in Philly so that's why it didnt work out

He got some pretty dysfunctional/mediocre Wizards teams to the playoffs - albeit in a weak eastern conference. I'm not sure if Messina did a single thing last year (or if we just paid him for access to his playbook?), but it'll be nice to have an actual offensive minded coach to teach an offense. If he does run the Princeton, that should work well with Nash and a hopefully more distribution-minded Kobe. With another off-season and some actual acquisitions that take us away from the triangle, it'll be interesting to see how Kobe/Pau adapt this year and whether or not the team is capable of running something non-triangle based.
